Oh, shit, I've never bought BL shoes, but those wine/mahogany ones are calling my name. What is the quality usually like? Especially the tread; my campus is brick with a ton of trees, so I need something that won't slide on leaves.
>mfw the scalloped trim
too sweet to work in a gothic coord?
I wouldn't say that, anon. I've had a pair of boots like OP's pic, essentially the same boot with no design, from them for about three years and they're holding up quite well. I guess Bodyline's footwear is just hit and miss
Better buy? I'm going for a mint/green seifuku.
I know they're pretty much the same, but I can't decide if I want a pocket. Does anyone have one to testify to the quality?
>no tread at all
this, though I've actually gotten into the habit of just roughing up the soles with a bit of sandpaper whenever i buy BL shoes and it actually fixes that problem by quite a bit. I find they usually scuff a lot the first couple days too, but the sandpaper thing helps with this too (not that i know why, mind you)
It's not like galaxy seifuku are something unique, seifuku with patterns are very popular at yumekawaii fashion so of course Bodyline would jump on the train.
Would it be alright to post good Bodyline coords in this thread? I could use some low-cost inspo.
Does anyone still buy bodyline at their prices now? The last time I ordered was the birthday sale. It almost doesn't seem worth it without a huge discount like that. Looking into buying my first brand because it's not even really cheaper anymore.
Even the shoes can be hit or miss, though. Some are comfortable and durable, others will squash your toes and hurt your feet after 10 minutes of wear. I honestly prefer Taobao brands or Antaina over Bodyline lately.
I suppose that depends on the material you choose and how you store them. I have one but I got it recently so I can't really say much yet. I keep it stored upside down anyways to prevent early deflation. I've also heard CP's pettis have decresed quality and deflate quicker than their older ones so you might want to look up more recent reviews of each and choose for yourself.
I'm stuck between ordering a daily organza or voile one, but they still like pretty large in the pics. Also, they both have the same poof rating but the organza looks fuller than the voile under a skirt.
So far my CP petti's poof hasn't decreased at all...but there's a massive tear across the fabric where the fabric is gathered at the seam (sorry, I don't know proper sewing terminology).
I've only worn it a few times, and I'm always careful when putting it on...I guess the fabric is just really crappy, because this has never happened to any of my other pettis.
I have a voile one from her. It obviously doesnt have a loooot of poof since it's a daily but I think it's pretty much perfect for everyday wear. It's really soft to touch and well constructed, now I just need to see how it holds up through wear.
If it keeps the poof, I'm considering getting a poof monster next
Laced fully closed they are quite small, but I don't know how wide they can go without looking stupid. I guess it depends on whether your calves are just kinda on the bigger side or actually very large. The latter definitely won't work.
I can never find this on their site, is it on rakuten?
Also I'm bad at looking for things I'm sorry.
depends on your country. if you're in the Netherlands and can find a pair for under 22 euros, you could be lucky. also, air tends to get less caught by customs. you could also do a group order with your comm and split shipping and taxes
If you're from Germany, you'd be safe with shoes under around 34 €.
22 € might be the cutoff for not getting taxed, but German customs officially only collect it if it's a sum above 5 €.
Does the yen-trick still works? I tried to order a pair of shoes just now and my shopping cart was in yen, but when I clicked "place order now" and it redirected to paypal, my shopping cart was in $.
Is there any way to get around this?
I have this, I've had it for well over a year now and it's really poofy but it's gradually starting to deflate a bit from bad storage so I'm going to chuck it in the tumble drier to get some poof back. It is pretty scratchy bur it's lines so I don't find it much of an issue, I always wear bloomers anyway.
Also I ordered shoes from them a few months ago and they weren't marked down. reckon if I asked they'd mark em down for me, or was I unlucky?
It is more money and the strange thing is, it keeps changing randomly either to bodyline's prices in $ or to € (which is my own currency) but never stays in yen.
Even using a japanese proxy and changing my browser language to japanese and trying from different laptops (and a tablet) didn't help.
Are we expecting a sale any time soon? I want to nab some shoes but I'm not about to fall into the same trap I've fallen into before.
>buy something from bodyline full price
>next day, huge sale
>life is unending suffering
Can you all suggest a petticoat to go under their sailor dress? It's not very full so it doesn't fit one of those big cupcake pettis without looking awkward and there's so many smaller shapes and sizes I wouldn't have the slightest idea which one to go with.
Weird question, but for anyone who has owned one of the Bodyline military sweets pieces, or one of Bodyline's similar military pieces, how did you wash it? I don't know if it's safe to put the hardware/trims in the washing machine, or if dryclean chemicals would be even worse for it.
Anyone got any decent reviews of s506?
How are they over somewhat big calves, will they fit? will they look terrible?
Getting flashbacks to early 2000s
heard the quality for this set was actually pretty okay. i've been wanting to get one myself. also pretty sure the girl in this is wearing the sax version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DPNPvuPWfo
Can someone here help me out? I've actually thought about getting the stupid unicorn dress and since it's cheaper on rakuten, I was going to order from there. My problem is, si that I've found to listings for the unicorn dress. One is listed at ¥4,799 and the other is ¥6,399. Can't seem to find any differences other than the price. Am I missing something? I don't want to fuck up when I order.
Link 1: http://item.rakuten.co.jp/bodyline/l598/
I also want to know about these, but I'm more interested in how comfortable they are for long periods of time.
I don't have any lolita boots, so I was thinking of getting these, but my feet also tend to get sore rather easily.
Also, anyone have photos of cute coords with them?
Anyone have the unicorn cutsew l558? Wondering if the measurements are accurate or if the sleeves look ridiculous.
Bodyline sent me an email that my order has shipped, but the tracking number doesnt work. The email was sent nearly 10 hours ago
Does bodyline usually lag with their tracking numbers, or did they give me a wrong one?
Mr yan X santa clause
2016 Lucky bag coming soon!
Mr yan visited santa village this afternoon.
Mr yan talked with santa about lucky bag!
<you must think about norhtern girls! So coat is must item!>
As someone who owned this in pink, don't do it, gulls. The skirt has no room for poof, the blouse/cutsew is quite short and uncomfortable, and the capelet looks frumpy.
It's really not worth it at all. It was my second BL purchase ever and it took me a long time to sell it.
Yanners says it's coming in 2-3 days. No word on what's in it though.
New items coming soon!
Also available in ankle boot version.
I've found a very similar ones
15 $ shipped, sizes 35-41
Let's see how much BL ask for them
Antaina on Taobao always has them but also, check Bodyline's Rakuten shop. Stuff actually restocks there and I already see one pair of RHS on the site that has more larger sizes than the English site.
Where about's in London do you take them too? I have a pair that squeak really badly and am not really from the area. I'm just staying for the next 3 weeks, so if you could suggest a reliable place to drop by I would really appreciate it.
anons please, I love old school, I really do, but this is ita as fuck. Please don't buy this. Daisy lace trim FFS.
If you want some old school glory, I know this is a Bodyline thread and all, but for the love of frills get some second hand brand. It honestly sells for cheap as fuck and you can pretty much guarantee something nice looking.
I used to take mine to the place just down from shepherd's bush station - James Shoe Care? I think they're a generic chain store, so you could possibly find them elsewhere in London. The shoes I had done were always fine although they don't use the hardest of materials to re heel. They might be a bit more expensive though.
Does anyone have any experience with Bodyline bloomers? I'm thinking of getting L509 but I'm not sure about height (185cm).
I have these exact ones and I love them
I'm 161cm and they're the perfect length if not a little long sometimes. The main downside is that they're made of really thin polyester-blend that BL uses sometimes so they wrinkle easily
I wished these shoes would come back.
A while back I wanted to place an order for these in 4 colors, only to find out where were all gone! I was so bummed.
Do you think they will ever come back?
They were the nicest model of rhs they had, it's such a shame they are gone now. An Tai Na doesn't seem to carry this model so can't order it from them either.
Bodyline is getting better all he time. The corset's kinda meh but the dress design is nice.
>mfw i was just thinking about doing this outfit
Anyone else getting a "There has been an error processing your request
Exception printing is disabled by default for security reasons." screen when they try to get on Bodyline? This has never happened to me before but all the sudden I can't get onto the site.
Same here, I just tried to get onto the site but nada.
Maybe the yandyman is dicking around with the site to finally give us a sale and all the love live cosplays he's been hoarding on the rakuten page?
I really want this one in lavender, any images of it worn, or reviews of it by peeps who bought it?
Still no sale. I also cannot use the yen trick anymore. As soon as I get to the paypal page it lists everything in the usd price. The yen price converted to usd for one of the items would be 25ish but the paypal lists it as 29.99. The price difference isn't a big deal but it just bugs me.
Does anyone have good coord pics of the Squirrel Party OP? I know it's a noob dress, but I love wearing bodyline casually, when there is no good occasion to wear lolita.
Any good coords with this dress? Opinions on it? I was playing around with the idea of getting it.
Don't even bother with the coord inspiration, just get the damn dress. I had it in brown (first lolita purchase) and had a whole coord planned out and then realized Bodyline's brown shoes didn't match the dress at all, couldn't find any brown shoes that did, and ended up selling the whole thing to another newbie. Still regret it since when I bought the dress it only cost $20.
But anyway, the dress is gorgeous in real life and you definitely won't regret buying one.
>click on "New"
>see these old as fuck / simple design shoes
Yes, Bodyline put these old shoes on 10,000 fucking yen , 85 USD or 78 Euro
this means will be a "sale" soon
This is for 10000 Yen too
It's a nice design but...
>that cheap-ass corset
>the extremelly simple / lazy upper part
How about no
As I know, they don't put items with hold price on the english website. They do on their Japanese one, where sizes and colors aren't available until they're on stock, and they put the final price then.
Items come to english website when they're already on stock, weeks later that in the Japanese one, plus you actually can order these and choose size/color on the english website.
Getting a very old design, for a very high price, when their quality keeps getting down? Specially now there are a lot of websites you can buy a very nice lolita shoes, for 1/3 of that price.
Dumping more Love Live costume arrivals since an anon up thread said she was hoping they'd carry the rest of the girls?
This one's Rin
And it looks like they're doing the unidolised Cafe Maid set too, so far the only one they have up is Maki
