This week the anime became 11 years old, damn.
Shit.
We did not even come up with a discord that can be included in the OP.
Godammit.
I am hoping to have time to make an attempt at some Easter-related fanart of the one and only god-tier bunnygirl.
Reposting the post from a previous thread, in the hopes that it invigorates discussion in this thread and, hopefully, the original poster will see it

"Hi guys, I'm interested in doing a sort of 'Rise and Fall of Haruhi Suzumiya' video, about the franchise. I figured people as dedicated to Haruhi as you guys would be able to help me out.
What was Haruhi Hunting like? And how was the Yuki Nagato Anime when it was announced recieved?
And just how exactly popular was Haruhi back during its peak popularity at conventions and stuff? modern day sao and attack on titan levels?"

I have been to small cons where Haruhi still dominates SOA, AOT levels to this day. People may or may not have seen a given recent and popular anime, but only the younger people (sometimes) haven't heard of Haruhi. Bear in mind though that there has always been a somewhat divided opinion on it from day one.

This makes me wonder if they even care that Surprise is becoming 5 years old this May, or that next year is the 15th anniversary of the series.

Idk if you guys are interested in seeing it, but here's the script for the video I've worked out. I don't think I'm the best writer in the world, but I do try my best.
I'm a big fan of Haruhi, but ended up conveniently missing discussion around a lot of important things like hunting and stuff, and wasn't around for conventions and stuff back in the day. So people like you guys are a massive help. Anyways, I've opened this up for commenting if anyone wants to give their take on my mediocre writing

Looks interesting.
I'm currently heading out atm. Give me about a day or so and I'll get back to you. And yes, I know I do owe you a fair amount of info.

That can be true, but it's definitely hard for me to believe.

Surprise is going to be 6 years old this year. It came out in 2011.

I can't into numbers
Is anyone else having problems opening the images in this thread? I've tried a couple different computers and no luck.
>>2883743
Not me, but quite a lot of them are big so many your internet is slow right now.
>>2883743
Not in this thread but in a few others here on /c/
Some images won't load at all and I end up getting a little red 404 message
>>2883743
It's a problem on your end, buddy.

I was having problems for the past couple days throughout the site, varied randomly from thread to thread. Attempted it with my desktop and laptop, and with my laptop at two different wi-fi spots so something probably went kaplooie with 4chan.

Not sure if you've seen it, but if you press the image you get the full view. Sometimes the difference is quite big.
