Im planning on moving to canada from my shithole 3rd world country.

Western Provinces are slowing down due to Crude Oil crash, but Unemployment is still surprisingly low. Crude oil crash is also why the CDN dollar is so low. Rest of the country is doing about the same as it was before.

New Government is probably a good thing if you are an immigrant (previous administration was more xenophobic... although no where near as bad as the right wing in the US).

Canada here. Houses/Condos are expensive and most (non new construction) are dilapidated as fuck because the owners have no incentive to maintain because they will get their high asking price no matter what. We also don't make much money and our money is almost toilet paper tier.
