So, /biz/, I have a question for you.
I own a startup I've been working on over the past year. Me and my cofounder both do not have a business background, but we know several business people.
We're trying to figure out if we should take investment money. We're both only 19, so getting large sums is going to be almost impossible. Our main product is also almost entirely finished already, so we don't strictly need the money. In fact, we'd probably just spend most of it on insurance and advertising.
Is it better for us to just market directly to our audience and keep the equity? Both of us are okay with this just being a lifestyle business, so it's not like we're chasing multi-billion-dollar evaluations.
I have connections to angel investors. I started and sold my own startup last year. What email can I reach you at? I know it sounds shady as fuck but I'm legit interested in this.
