Hey guys
so i finally after about a year of applying to lockheed i was noticed. which was a win in itself as they really seem to do their homework even before contacting somebody.
i had a phone interview and passed.
just did a pretty intense in-person group interview.
it's for subcontracts.
i believe if i get it this job i should be making close to 60 grand a year. i also really like that they do a 9/80 workweek, which is every other friday off. so i could have time to pursue other interests like investing.
I live at home with my mom. my dad just passed and i am 27.
what should i do with say the 40 grand a year i don't really need to start really setting myself up?
also anyone work at lockheed?
how is it and do you like it?

are you even certain that you will have 40k left at the end of the year? And you should move out from your parents house, makes a far more professional impression (and also increases chances of gf).
leftovers should go into a savings account, or invest it into funds yourself if youre experienced at it.

no you're right probably at least 30 though since i don't do a whole lot and i plan on staying home till 29-30 at least, one, to help out my mom, two, to start investing.
im already pretty close to the facility as well and i do have a girlfriend.
