How do you balance education and work?
Say that you study for your Masters degree, at the same time working for the company you'd like to work for forever. How do you balance? How do you tell your boss you can't come cause you have to do an exam or whatever?

You tell him you have an exam. They will understand, they know that people have other responsibilities, it's not like you're going home early to play LoL, you have an exam.

My friend takes as many classes online as he can. The rest he takes in the evening. He also pays me to take a bunch of his classes and do projects / papers for him because he is pressed for time.

This. If your boss isn't happy that you're furthering your education, and isn't willing to help accommodate your needs, you should probably be looking for a new job.
Honestly, your employer should be paying for your Master's. Personally, I pay for my own because I'm a contract employee, and my hourly pay makes up for not having any benefits. If you're a regular employee but don't get education assistance, your employer sucks.

I tried this but then I couldn't understand the material and failed almost every class and dropped out.
Seems like not so good idea tbqh.
