What would be the best way of making 400$ that I need to buy

Actually living in capital town paying $300 for rent + food which I earn from my band so I'm on $0 each month. Parents are barely surviving so they're out of question.

Buy a $200 used laptop.

Get yourself a thinkpad, familia. Works perfectly for everything except gayming(which is for losers anyway).

In the UK you can get student discounts with s student card from your university which covers laptops and some other electronics if they're for your studies. Dunno about your country tho.

Man, I love 50 dollar specials like your laptop. They're perfect for installing Linux on and getting another 3-5 years off them.

Get a thinkpad T410/420

Get additional ram(for a total of 8gb) and an SSD and it will work well.

I use it and it works really well for everything except gaming, which I don't care about anyway. Tons of other people say they used it all 4 years in university too, worked fine.
