G'day /biz/, first time poster

Us Ausfags are suffering from a real shitty USD exchange rate at the moment.

I was planning on making some purchases from the US in the coming weeks, but PayPal reams you exchange rate wise and credit cards aren't much better.

Is there any tips on how to maximise my AUD/USD exchange?

You could take out a 2x leveraged long position on the AUD/USD that will make up your losses on the purchase when the AUD returns to parity with the USD when the commodities market recovers.

Wait until the US Fed has to concede they're back into a recession and the USD tanks. Put off those purchases until the 4th quarter, maybe 1st 2017
