You've probably done it for a few days and made little.

Playing Poker for profit, as a job more or less is incredibly boring and stale. Keeping track of your BR, playing tight, playing 5+ tables as once for hours a day is stupidly boring.

And most of the time you make a little over if not under minimum wage.

I agree it does turn into a grind, BR management, and rolling with variance.
I was just giving him a strategy game to play where if you're decent enough you can make some spare change.
I wasn't claiming he could quit his main job, but if you can fund it, and have the time, why not take a shot?
