Ny medicaid and claiming head of household

Morning /biz
Situation is I live in a different state, I am claiming head of household and my mother as a dependent on my taxes, I have covered 80% of my mothers living expenses over the last year, My mother has not worked all of last year, has Medicaid and cant afford to lose it. I wanted to make sure prior to filing that this would infact not affect her medicaid in NY


Again i own a home, reside in and work in a diff state

My mother resides in an apt in NY

I pay 80% + her cost of living and she has not worked last year

She has medicaid

Would like to validate that me filing head of household will not affect her medicaid.
