On a scale of 1 to 10, how important are the following factors in being successful as a wagekek:

>Intelligence
>Looks
>Social skills (minus looks)
>Contacts inside
>Contacts outside
>Starting age
>Getting higher degrees (MBAs, MFs, etc.)

Some of them may be conflictive, or a sub-factor, but whatever. It came out that way.
>>
>Intelligence - 7.5
>Looks - 5 (Average)
>Social skills (minus looks) - 8.5
>Contacts inside - 9
>Contacts outside - 7
>Starting age - 3.5 (As long as you are in your early to mid 20s)
>Getting higher degrees (MBAs, MFs, etc.) - 6 (It helps)
>>
Intelligence - 7

Looks - 5 (source: dad isn't the most handsome but has a high-end job) (dress nice and crisp and have a good breath)

Social skills - 8

Contacts inside - depends on your company, I'd say around 5 or 6

Contacts outside - 4 (its only a booster seat)

Starting age - obviously matters in terms of salary, but getting in probably only 3 or 4

Higher degrees - 7 or 8

Try to have a handful of the higher tiered ones.

>>Intelligence
5-6 Helpful, although hardwork and organization is much more important.

>>Looks
4-5 Helpful, although as clearly seen by many businessmen being *VERY VERY* far from 10/10 male models not so much.

>>Social skills (minus looks)
10, very important.

>>Contacts inside
it can make everything but it's not the end-all because you can make them. Depends on industry and exact position too.

>>Contacts outside
5
>>Starting age
Earlier you starter easier it is and better you look.

>>Getting higher degrees (MBAs, MFs, etc.)
Some companies/fields won't even consider you without a certain degree. And many others will pay you a lot more JUST because you have that degree.

Since you specified wagecucks I'll assume this is for grunt tier work

>Intelligence
3/10. Any idiot can be conscientious. Just find out what's expected, make a check list, and follow it for every project. Being smart gets in the way, if anything, because it's aggravating to stop being productive and fill out forms, update your manager on progress, communicate with clients, etc.

>Looks
5/10, it will reduce your risk of being unemployed but it won't help you escape wagecuckoldry

>Social skills (minus looks)
10/10 this is basically the #1 predictor of success once you're in (again, assuming wage cuckoldry - this wont get you far as a ceo, entrepeneur, investor, etc.)

>Contacts inside
4/10, like looks, this will keep you out of prolonged failure modes (longterm unemployment) but it wont get you up

>Contacts outside
See above

>>Starting age
3/10 not a big deal unless you're 35 competing with recent college grads

>Getting higher degrees (MBAs, MFs, etc.)
depends on industry, 10/10 for stem, academia, govt and "business", 2/10 for everything else

I don't get this. Most Directors/CEOs I worked with began as lowly wagecucks.
What does it take to get to that level, besides hard work and dedication? Social skills are important in terms of networking and networking is very important at that level...
