I dropped out of high school in year 12 so I don't think university is an option I want to get into IT but in Australia even level 1 help desk jobs are asking for things like 2-3 years experience what do I do how do I get into this industry?
Community college?

Yeah we have something called TAFE here and I think it can lead me into university but it's $10,000 for a diploma in networking.

That does not seem half bad. You could relatively easily earn $10 000 in a year while going to school.

You can take a small loan for community college. Be serious about it and you can get a scholarship after the first year or so.
On the other hand, you can study at home. Class Syllabi and degree catalogs are normally available online and networking is a field where you can get a bunch of certifications to put yourself above other degree holding candidates.

I guess this is true I'm only 18 so I have plenty of time to think about it. I wouldn't mind just doing some customer service work taking inbound calls my dream job would be working in customer service for a game company maybe it's not a huge dream but I'd be happy with it I'm not looking to get rich in life I just want to enjoy it.

Try out community college then, it gives you decent options later about what you want to do and it's not nearly as much of an upfront investment as University which mist people tend to drop out of within 1-2 years generally.
