It's sad how you still don't see the irony of comparing it to USD
>up 5440% percent in a year
>Down 50% the next
>Up 35%
Don't you see how terrible this is? USD is stable and can be used to buy everything.

How is that remotely ironic?
How are currency crosses usually described you mental midget?
>>1036784
Its not supposed to be stable, its designed to increase in value against fiat currencies. Therefore the volatility is natural and beneficial towards this end.

I don't see how wild fluctuation is good for a currency.
Having my money be worth +/-5% everyday makes no sense.

I guess OP just sees it as a tool of speculation rather than a tool of exchange for goods. Eventually OP will have to transfer his bitcoins to a valid form of currency to buy something.

That's the only way I see it. I'm not opposed to bitcoin or anything but there is some very serious flaws for it to be used as a currency.
It's more of a commodity or a "meme"/pennystock.
There is just countless downsides that there's limited use for it.

Song power assole
Since bitcoin is still relatively young it behaves very logarithmically. Even if you invest today the ev is likely very high.

Bitcoin is suppose to be a currency, not a stock.
And yet it's functioning as a pennystock and nowhere near as a currency.
Too damn volatile, that's why i don't buy bitcoins even though sometimes i would like to.
I've made so much money with Bitcoin these past couple of days that I am close to having a nervous break down. I don't even believe it ... it's like only a couple of days ago I was a broke poorfag struggling to pay my loans but after taking a massive risk and borrowing money from anyone I know now I am doing quite well for myself ...
Thanks for your advice biz, it changed my life. Seriously ... I am crying right now ... wtf
>>1036818
Exactly it's nothing more than a tool of speculation.
>>1036825
It functions fine as a currency.
You'd probably let me fuck your gf for 10btc
>>1036843
I've seen this post before
>>1036911
only because it can be converted to USD.
Think if tomorrow Bitcoin could no longer be converted to USD, would it be worth anything? nope.
Hence why it is a commodity and not a currency,

copy paste
>>1036956
That would mean the USD has dissappeared.
Anyway i wouldnt give a shit i'd just convert to GBP or any of the other currencies.
Your sense of logic is quite weak my friend, very weak indeed.

More individuals that use it, the less velocity.
Bitcoin technology is the future.
