It's not. I like to look at numbers more than charts. Charts dont mean everything. I use charts for a small % of what I look at.

However, due to paying down significant college debts I don't have a lot to invest this early as much as I would like. So I dont care how I pay for the stocks, but free when I dont use either sites marketing bullshit, I would rather pay $0.

If all ways of accessing the market were equal, your logic would work.
Unfortunately, "free" doesn't really mean that for Robin Hood, just like it doesn't for anything else.
Your cost would come from treating the app like a brokerage, which it clearly isn't.

This is 100% false. That would be illegal, numbnuts. They collect interest from the cash sitting in everyone's account (typically money that is T+3'd).
