What do you plan to offer in exchange for said money?
>>1027155
I plan to offer value.
>>1027151
Yes, I am pretty sure there are some people in Vegas. Next question?
>>1027190
Are you in Vegas?
>>1027204
I am
>>1027151
Are you on drugs? Nobody *wants* to move to Vegas?
>>1027151
The only money to be made there is with vices. And unfortunately for you, those industries generally require connections.
How is the HVAC industry doing over there?

Who the fuck wants to live in Vegas besides people working in the casinos and people providing services for the people working in casinos?
>>1027374
Old people who would die in the cold and mexicans who can't afford to live in california.

vegas is great to live in
If you have money, everyone is nice to live in.

That shouldn't be a problem though, right? I think I could make some friends or introduce myself to some people around town.

That my point.
Unless you're wealthy Vegas is a brutal place to live in. That place have mole people for god's sake.
i grew up in vegas and left because it was hard to find good jobs for engineers. the construction industry is already massive and electricians, pipefitters, etc. have pretty long waits before the next union job opens up. i would suggest not moving there unless you have already received a worthwhile job offer.
Reno is where it's at.
I love Vegas. I moved here from another country.

interesting choice to make money... most people who go there end up losing it

>That place have mole people for god's sake.
this... it sounds brutal for the poor or anyone at risk of becoming poor... one guy posted a bit about being homeless in vegas on a poker forum... he'd gone there to grind at poker but was on a downswing and lost his room
made some money from donating blood/plasma etc.. made a bit more from sitting in a seat in a sportsbook and checking the seat folds for bills... then moving to another seat. Carried on gambling and occasionally had enough for a hotel room... sometimes bought a spa ticket and slept there - once in a robe no one is going to know you're not some old rich dude...
whole thing sounded rough - not much of a safety net there - just raw capitalism... great if you win not so great if you lose

but someone has to be taking their money?
People go there expecting to lose money
