I asked if you were camera shy because you can rate and review products on youtube and direct traffic to your blog. You can cook, offer parenting tips, etc. People want videos now, not just to read your blog. You need to partner with someone who is good with marketing and video editing to take your videos, make them watchable, post them to youtube, establish subscribers and eventually profit from them.

I used to do online esol lessons through skype so I am not camera shy but I do not like the idea of being on youtube and having peers and potential colleagues possibly seeing those videos.

I would prefer to do something like online esol lessons but the company i was working for is pretty defunct now and since i have a little baby I cant have her crying in the background.

Also - i will say i consider myself very capable and I had a job lined up teaching assistant for an online course but while i was in labor some female went in and somehow convinced the male prof. to give her the job. It created a small little stink and was a super dick move.

But i am not super desperate for income bc i have a scholarship. Have looked into ESOL Companies in Taiwan but mostly scams and am waiting fr an interview with a teletech company but the baby has her own schedule. I would have paid for a babysitter had i been teaching an online course but I wont do that just to be a telemarketer.

I could probably be a great personal assistant to someone who only needed me in person two-four times a month

My thoughts exactly.

1. Blogging is dead. Its incredibly difficult to build a blogging platform now that a.) Google Reader is dead b.) The walled gardens such as Twitter and Facebook make it hard to retain audience c.) Other than paid marketing, your only other distribution angle is SEO, which is work I don't recommend for a single mom.

2.) The easiest way is YouTube. With decent content, you could net $200-300 bucks a month (25k/75k views /mo)
