What is your favorite real life mystery of all time?
the dyatlov pass incident. the lead mask case in brazil is also interesting, in part because it has the weird golden orb in common with dyatlov and something the parents of a friend experienced at sea
>Where is my fuckin' dildo ?
My prostate craves a massage
Italian recent history is full of mysteries.
the "inside jobs" of Italicus train, Ustica plane crash, Bologna station bomb, Red Brigades, State-Mafia agreements, satanists stuff (Firenze monster, Kercher killing, Rea killing), and so on.
My preferred one is the one about Masonry killing card.Bugnini
The Bouvet Island boat
>most remote place on earth
>landing by boat impossible, have to get there by helicopter
>researchers find a boat in a lagoon inland with a few random items
>no bodies, no camp, nothing besides the boat and a 44 gallon drum
>no signs of anyone having been there, no records of any shipwrecks in the area
What happened to Martin Bormann??
Very true. A tall, blonde man was seen hanging around the children if I remember correctly. Also, one of them had bought a pie from the kiosk near the beach despite their mother having given them only money for the bus.
Most likely all met a terrible fate.
maura murray ran away to california to realize her life-long dream of becoming a comedian
So what exactly am I looking at?
I understand there's a complete dead zone and the marked points on this map congregate mainly on the east and west sides of the map, but what exactly is this map marking?
>Chick was in hotel
>gets in elevator
>it won't close or move
>she's freaking out and pushing buttons and acting like she's hiding from someone
>poking head around as if she's looking for someone
>Can't remember how the video ends
>some time later
>found dead in water thing on the roof of hotel
>No drugs or alcohol found in system
>xfiles theme song.mp3
this girl was being all weird hiding from something, this is the last footage of her. they found her dead body in a massive water tank which was being given to the people staying at the apartment block. the lid of the water tank was too heavy for a woman of her size to lift up. mystery is how she got in there and who/what she was hiding from.
hope this helped
Who was the Zodiac Killer
Runner up is who was the real Boston Strangler. Sure as shit wasn't Alber Desalvo
pic obviously unrelated
"This is the Zodiac speaking"
Fun fact: the autopsy report mentions subcutaneous anal bleeding and a rectal prolapse when she was found.
The disaperances defy police searchers sniffing dogs and even go back over a hundred years.
The Elicia Lamb Elevator girl is related to this case.
Not that simple, they have not even looked into cases where there was a thread of evidence pointing to anything like an animal or drowning or accident. Look into it for reals.
>eaten by animals
Nigga, the point in there would be no thread of evidence. Sure you might know where they entered this enormous forest but you have no idea where they might have accidentally drown, fallen or been eaten by a bear in the hundreds of miles of wilderness. Needle in a haystack and all that.
Because it's not a fucking mystery you autist. It's like ships that disappear. It's a fucking vast open area unable to be thoroughly combed for evidence. No evidence leads aspies to believe paranormal occurrences.
She had a psychotic episode. That's all. Honestly, do you think hotel ghosts did it? Some janitor murdered her and never did it before or since? She unfortunately had a shitty episode of some sort, ran up to the roof, (which WAS frequently accessible, despite what reports might say, they had trouble with guests going up there previously) and either fell or threw herself in the tank. There are plenty of examples of people doing similar things seemingly out of the blue. Bi-polar episodes and psychotic breaks are strange things. you hallucinate, you can't tell what's reality from fiction, etc. It happens. People die.
The scent dogs didn't comb every inch of every park. Some of those parks are hundreds of square miles. Not finding any evidence doesn't equal there being no evidence. I can't believe autism like yours exists.
>Paulides' current project is Missing 411, a series of non-fiction books documenting unsolved cases of disappearing people in national parks. His work on this subject began when he was doing research in a national park when an off-duty park ranger found him and expressed concern about the questionable nature of some of the disappearing persons cases which occur in the parks. The rangers knew Paulides' background and requested that he research into it and see if he could find any leads. Paulides obliged, and since then asserts that he has uncovered multiple lines of evidence to suggest negligence on behalf of the park service in keeping track of their missing people, and a continuous series of disappearances from all across the U.S., and even other parts of the world, that seem to defy all logical and conventional explanations.
>As of 2015, Paulides has written five books on the topic of missing people who he contends have disappeared or died under mysterious circumstances in National Parks and wilderness areas. According to his most recent book, A Sobering Coincidence, his group does not yet have a theory on what is causing the disappearances, although their field of suspects is narrowing. He advises that readers go outside of their normal comfort zone in trying to nail down who or what the culprit is.
that's not enough...i need MORE
Greatest mystery of all time is why the people of the united states didn't bring ron paul into power. Missed opportunity there burgers.
Lose sight of a person for one moment. They are gone. no sign of struggle. no scream. no sound. doesn't respond. no hair. nothing. no scent.
You are making a lot of assumptions about the cases. Smart bro!
I can tell you 100% that the missing in the Superstitions (AZ) are all dipshits who went looking for gold without water. Pretty much like playing russian roulette with 5 bullets out there in the desert. No fucking mystery to it.
As a third year astronomy student, the Wow signal always gets me.
when will his parents accept him for who he is and not change him to be a human? even if he does change, he will be a pug in heart
>police focus on suspect not searching
>evidence of her being forcibly taken from the trail
>trail previously closed for increased wildlife activity
This is your disappeared without a trace mystery? Kek.
The people who control the media decide who becomes the next president. We Americans are so ingrained in being sheep that all the people in power have to do is decide which direction we're shepherded to and it happens. There are plenty of people who see through the bullsht but there are too many sheep for them to come off as anything but crazy to them.
from what I remember the problem with this explanation is that she was found in the tank with the hatch closed. the hatch/cover was too heavy for a young asian woman to open or close on her own, especially from the position of being inside the tank (and probably upside down as her body was found).
Maura Murray was drunk, got in an accident and hit her head. Then freaked out because she a prior and was drunk driving so she fled the scene on foot.
Being a runner she thought she could make it to safety, but the drunkenness and head injury caught up to her so she sat down. Then died of exposure in early February New Hampshire.
The only mystery is where her body went, its probably still there
Okay all this mystery bullshit aside, is no one going to mention this dudes post number?
Why is the expansion of the universe getting FASTER?
Yeah, I thought the same shit.
>the dyatlov pass incident
I wanna think something bizarre and amazing happened here--but this being outback Russia, the people probably went insane from something dumb like drinking vodka cut with turpentine
An object can neither accelerate nor decelerate unless acted upon by an outside force. The universe is being pulled apart by something. Maybe other universes expanding near our own.
that anything exists, that the space for anything to exist exists, that i feel immortal in my heart but know my body will die, that everything may fall away but i still feel i will exist
>trust me I'm omnipotent and know that no single celled organism could survive in space because no single celled organism ON EARTH could survive space
You're not very good at logic, are you?
if thats the case than its simultaneously being pulled apart in every possible direction.
seems simpler to me that its just defying our basic understanding of physics, and is indeed still accelerating from the initial explosion
I'm retarded but my astronomy 101 professor is pretty sure we'll find alien life in our lifetime, but not make contact.
He speculates NASA will detect a bunch of carbon or light or something from a planet, and we'll know with near-certainty, but it'd still take hundreds of years to make contact.
But hey, maybe we'll discover immortality by then.
>schools and road maintenance
Well damn, I guess spending even more trillions of cash run by a foreign entity (federal reserve) on endless wars is worth it if you have your schools and road maintenance (which surely would all be left to rot after you save trillions of dollars). Yup.
The laws of physics and chemistry are universal. There's no reason to believe the laws of biology aren't as well. Alien life is probably more similar to us than most people think. I'm not talking bipedal or anything, I'm talking carbon-based, oxygen-breathing life that UH can't survive in a vacuum.
Yeah, it just makes no fucking sense. Like where do you even begin. I mean, I'm not a junior detective or anything but I don't see how any one piece of this fucking puzzle could go with anything else.
Biggest mystery of all! Who is this 4Chan?
(not related to that subject, but similar to it...)
I can't recall the details, but there is some kind of fatal brain seizure that, when it happens to a person, the person tends to take their clothes off, tear apart their surroundings (such as, the room they are in) and then crawl under something before dying.
There was cases of this going back decades, and police and doctors just thought that these were all murders... but there was never any robbery, or any clues to how anyone would have exited the scenes.
In the 1980's a couple cases were found where people did die of this type of seizure, and it was 100% certain that nobody was in the room with them when they died.
It seemed very odd that a brain defect could cause such complex and predictable behavior but it appears to be true, even in people.
Kinda like that worm that lives inside insects, and makes them jump into water right before they die.....
This one is pretty great, don't mind the sketchy source it's the only one with the full transcript. Pilot saw a ufo, called it in and then he disapeared. Check it out
>Have fun being a useless minority, friend-o
"Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth."
No problem Schlomo
>Kinda like that worm that lives inside insects
Don't remind me of that or Cordyceps:
OR THE FUCKING SNAIL THING
Also, anyone remember that missing child case where the kid climbed a tree in view of his mother and grandfather, then never came down? There was a great deal of suspicion, of course, but IIRC the mother had a nervous breakdown within an hour, climbing the tree herself and refusing to move away from it, but no signs of the child were ever found.
