Life is Strange is fucking amazing, I wouldn't call it as much of a game, more so a interactive story. However a story it is and a fucking amazing one at that. The characters were fucking great, awesome development and had tones of life to them. The small town america setting was also fantastic. I loved everything about the story, even it's BAD ending. It was a good example that not everything can be perfect, that sometimes you just got to loose and not hold on to things. It sure rendered all choices in the game pointless, but then that was the point from the get go. Not to save everything and everyone and Max then goes on to have a happy ever after, more so about her living in the moment, denying what has to come. Also you get ending props if you choose to romance Chloe. Ending broke my heart, cried like a little bitch.
Also not everything was perfect development and story wise, but that's okay, my point isn't that Life is Strange is perfect, but that it's an amazing story and a fantastic experience.

I'll interject to say I enjoyed the game immensely... not perfect to be sure, but it was well-constructed to hit emotional notes, the soundtrack was paired beautifully.

And while the last episode had certain parts that seemed a little ill-fitting, the endings weren't. Did they invalidate all the choices you'd been making for the previous 4 episodes? They did, in terms of outcomes, undeniably, you worked and struggled and in the end you can't get a happy ending for your efforts. But to me, the experiences Max as a character, and thus you as a player, goes through do have meaning, and those things do inform what you do at the end, what you decide there is going to be the product of what you've done, even if the decision renders those actual accomplishments irrelevant. Its uncomfortable to realize that last part at the end, but I think it's meant to be that way.
