my cat is going to die soon, about 10 11 years old, already 2 surgeries to remove tumor, and it grew again, i think it spread to her lungs. when we play, she starts making noise when breathing. everytime i think of it i get so fuckin sad. no one in my life that i would get so sad if tomorow died, like my cat. My suggestion, is to take them to the vet. Seek opinion for their "ongoing quality of life", and act based on what would ensure their life is painless.

Cats are lucky that Euthanasia is legally and morally accepted in society. This is not an easy task Anon (I've done it 4 times in 37 Years). But at least you have the choice.

I'm not dying painfully in a home, I'm an-heroing with my 12 Guage - breaking the law whilst doing so, may I add.

Be brave and just do it. After you do, you'll see them sleep, and they will be comfortable. Euthanased cats look like sleeping cats. You'll be fine.
