CS go is better at quick matches with run and gun, battlefield is better in terms of immersion and action, if you want a good story you have to avoid COD like the plague etc

Personally, I never played csgo but as far as cod I concerned, everyone caps out at how much skill you can acquire, so it gets easy after a while. The camps are fun to unlock and just making people mad by beating them is always fun. Battlefield is really good for immersion, I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect I the entire game.
