yep. but keep in mind that if she was done with residency and licensed it wouldn't matter but she still has to finish out her last year. if her her and those working in her program were pressured enough by emails, bad reviews, etc, they might just let her go. docs/hospitals need the respect of the public, have to have it for the system as it's currently designed to function properly, and if it's being jeopardized to a significant degree the hospital admins are going to put pressure on the department to make a change. and she's in a somewhat tenuous position being that she's not permanent staff but rather a grad student. yes this is prolly temporary, but if enough of the public remains steadfast that she's not fit (or doesn't deserve) to practice medicine, she may be removed from this program and furthermore have a very difficult time finding a spot at another.

All a block does on Twitter is keep the blocked user from seeing your Tweets while they're logged in. It may also prevent you from seeing notifications either from them or anything mentioning them. I wouldn't know, I'm not a faggot that blocks people.

What I do know is this. 1) Anybody you've blocked can still see your Tweets, all they have to do is use TweetDeck or log out. If they don't want to log out, they can just open an incognito window; and they'll be logged out in that window.

2) Anything you Tweet can't be magically silenced, made invisible, or otherwise censored because somebody blocked you. Your Tweets mentioning her will most definitely show up in a search, and in a Google search if you mention her name.

What I'm NOT sure of, is if Tweets from blocked users are hidden in the per-Tweet view for replies. That would make sense to do, and there's no good way to test for that. Unless, somebody wants to reply to one of her tweets, get blocked, and link their Tweet so I can see if it shows up in the replies for hers.
