What's the saddest movie you've ever seen?
I need to feel
Dear Zachary. Cried like a bitch the whole time.
the doge dyes :^(
Requiem for a dream. No other comes close
>>595589713
Never had a dog, I probably won't be able to relate
>>595589748
Never was too big on that
Made me feel real hard.
>>595590000
Nice quads.
>>595590134
Ohey neat
>>595590016
What's it about?
only ever cried for this movie, the final killed me inside
>>595589518
Powder. 's a classic "we don't want anyone feeling good when they leave" movie.
>>595589748
Sad? I don't remember being struck with sadness when watching this.
Plus, it's not half as good as people say it is. It's been years since I've seen it, so who knows. It's probably still shit.

As for my recommendation, 'Detachment'. Talk about a depressing movie with almost no sign of positivity.
>>595589518
oh the feels
>>595589693
/thread
If you are unfamiliar with the case, then the shocker 3/4 of the way in will make you want to drink poison.
>Never had so many feels been felt
>>595590016
>>595590313
it's about senile old people who can't remember jack shit. after the nuke drops they have no idea what happened even after spending the whole movie talking about how to survive a nuke
it's basically a worse version of grave of the fireflies
Awakenings...whole theater was sobbing
>>595590345
Good recommendation.
Awesome
Keep them coming guys
To elaborate how bad I need it
I haven't cried in 8 years and my doctor says that it's necessary
>>595589518

>>595591448
Just about, yeah
>>595591056
Yeah that latter part of the movie was like wtf feels out of nowhere. Not fair. Saw that in theaters. Overheard a bunch of guys afterwards saying they were borderline crying.
>>595589518
The 1st movie i ever cried on was My Girl
after that click and toy story 3 i guess
>>595589518
Les parapluies de Cherbourg.
Weird singing I normally would hate. But the movie kicked me in the feels.
>>595591815
Oh shit, My Girl. For sure. Good fucking film. Tempted to watch that now. It's been so many years.
Passion of the Christ,it's so sad this man died for ours sin and to watched it reenacted made me cry.
>>595590745
he got some blind chick to date him
>>595592069
Passion is Jew hating torture porn
>>595591056
I cried at the part where he yells at his dad and his dad just says "I love you"
>>595592069
I'm sure you're trying to derail, but I gotta comment anyway. This film is actually really good and really powerful, even without relevant beliefs. I imagine a believer would be even more affected. But good watch regardless.
>>595589713
OLD YELLER GOT THA HYDRO-PHOBIE

Bob and I
>>595592351
Everytime you remember it bobby, just say this to yourself. " this is, the part where I say I don't want. I'm stronger than I did before"

Seen it. Some feels for sure. I guess it just didn't hit me as hard as it hit you.
P.S. - Please try to not seem so condescending when you post.
>>595593017
Cause it's some gay weaboo shit
>>595589693

>>595593017
Seen it and got nothing
>>595593297
Yeah OP don't even bother with anything else. It's on Netflix...get to it and report back.
My Dog Skip
Fluke
Who else doesn't get all feely with animal films? I don't see the uber sadness that some people claim is present in all of these movies about dogs dying.
>>595589518
Plague Dogs
>>595589518
American Beauty.
the guy is only happy with his life when it is flashing before his eyes.
>>595593211
I cried.
For fucking hours.

FOR MEDICAL REASONS YOU DIP
Perks of being a wallflower, because if you really understand what happened, you feel feels
>>595589518
If you're looking for something atmospherically, existentially sad, I recommend In Bruges. You definitely can't go away from that movie feeling the same way you did going in.
But it can also cause apathy.
Bonus points for it being a fucking great movie.
>>595593934
Great movie--- one of my favorites, but I didn't cry, it was sad yes, but not heart crushing
Watch this film regardless though
>>595594256
Probably to release built up tension or some shit.
Do you have blood pressure issues or bad anxiety?
I think the saddest movie moment for me is the Execution seen in Green Mile
Please boss, don't put that thing over my face, don't put me in the dark. I's afraid of the dark.
I cry every time, like a little bitch
>>595594359
I thought this was supposed to be a funny film
>>595594335
I related to way too much of this movie. The feelings expressed/represented by the MC were too close to ones I've known. It is a very good movie, but I'm not sure I'd watch it again. It was depressing for me.
>>595594359
>>595594359
Bruges was fucking hilarious. Best darkcom edy I've ever seen.
For sad/emo, I recommend The Fountain.
