Attic Abasement- Dancing is Depressing
anyone into that pop-punk/emo vibe needs to listen to this. 2014's album of the year IMO
Say what you will, but this album is fucking pop brilliance.
Just going to keep postin' shit for the three, non Metal or Punk fans here.
Also a great album.
say what you will about him, but kendrick put out gold with this one
Yo La Tengo has such an extensive discography that everyone has their favorite, but I think the general, mass consensus is 'I Can Hear the Heart Beating As One.'
Seriously? you can actually sit down and listen to that FULL album? 1st track is great, 2nd and 3rd are alright, the rest blow. I still like that band and pretty much all the other bands they've done but that is by no means a god tier album.
anyways, as far as newer albums go, this is one of my favorite.
Few bands can put out what is essentially a singles compilation album and have it truly feel essential.
Also, 'Girls In Peacetime Just Want to Dance' is out tomorrow.
Good stuff, but can't compare to Sports in my opinion.
His best work by far
You are literally a god. Also The Cure.
listening to this now due to all the acclaim. idk, i don't get it. too tongue in cheek for me maybe? at least that's the impression i get.
my opinion on a god tier album:
Title Fight - The Last Thing You Forget
>OP posts American Football
>nearly shit myself
i think im the only one that knows this shit exists.
This album grew on me like crazy over time. Obviously I like 'Never Meant' off the bat, but as I listened to it I grew to love the drone stuff and the repetitiveness of it. It's good for work, driving, relaxing.
I also love Bedhead.
Any fans of real screamo/emo, not that scene shit
Any fans of emo who haven't heard this gem, you have to listen to it. More of a punkish vibe than AF. It's on youtube
Have been saying this for months. I like you anon.
Let's just get this out of the way
hell yah good album
Op you mah Nigga
My favorite Tool album by far. And 10,000 days rearranged into "The Holy Gift".
right here brother
Any other good rap out there? These are a couple I posted but I want more.
Hard choice but this is one of my top 10
It's not, I want at the show but a friend of mine was the one who set up the show and told me all about it, regardless they're not allowed back in the diy scene around me (not that it matters cause they're too big now but whatever)
Honestly didn't really dig it that much, felt very forced, if it wasn't for me seeing them live twice and they played a couple tracks off the new album, then i probobaly would of liked it less, if anything, Descensus made me like violent waves more.
