yes i know this isn't all that old, but still note worthy.
Ii always felt like I was the only person to ever play this.
10/10 Gameplay 11/10 soundtrack, try topping this one.
most frustrating game ever when I was a kid. It took me until I was like 26 (like 3 years ago) to even figure out how to get out of the jail cell thing, assuming I could ever make it past those annoying slugs. I still haven't beaten it.
Those slugs were hit or miss with me, some days they were easy and others not so much.
>mfw figuring out I had to run back and jump on the vine in the beginning
There was a game that looked kinda similar to this, and you were like a knight and would travel the map and monsters would pop up and it would just be a picture of it and it'd tell you something and you had to choose an action. There were also villages and shit you could go to. Old as fuck..I can't remember what it was called though. Any idea?
that fucking frog. Just looking at his face brings back raging memories of him popping up and saying some stupid shit
i played a plane fighter game in 2003, anyone know what it is? theres a menu where you can select missiles but it's like numerous square pictures of missiles on them, in black and white, not drawn but photographs. and then when you fly you see a wheel, control panel for it and the winshield. very detailed buttons.
played it for an hour.
Realized it was gay.
Spend the rest of my life hearing abot how amazing RVR was
>never made it past lvl 5
played these way more than I should have
my nigga. Everyone on here is always posting ps1/2 games as "retro" games but NES is where it's at. I have around 180 nes games still in the boxes (including that one) and most still have the manuals. I've been thinking about selling it for years but it's hard finding anyone who appreciates the value - most people just want the carts
I will never figure out how to play this
Can't find a single other person who played it.
dragon warrior 1
Heres another one thats fucking amazing, though not many people even knew it existed.
Fighting the last boss in this game gave me the first adrenaline rush of my entire life.
Is there another game that's very similar to it for the PC? I'm googling pictures of this game and it looks almost just like the game I played on the PC, but it was a little different.
Ultima online, or one of the 9 single player games?
Does not matter, all were epic.
On phone. In transit. No laptop. I digress. Forgotten games?
> Judge Dredd vs Death
> Mace Griffin, Bounty Hunter
> Final Fantasy legends 3
> Chanticleer Hegemony
> Elder Scrolls - Battlespire
> System Shock 1 & 2
> Marble Madness
>guy tries to mug you
>punch him in the shit
>same guy tries to mug you later
>punch him in the shit
>third time the same guy tries to mug you
>punch him in the shit?
>nope, get shot in the fucking head
>dead fat girl in a trunk
i feel like no had this fucking game and if you did, your awesome cause i love this game
i forget what the ending was like. I remember doing something with the medicine in the doctor's office or some shit but i'm drawing a blank on what happens next. I was stuck getting fucked by the mugger for a long time.
the game in the picture I posted is lords of the realm 2. Still have no idea what game you're looking for, but the people saying LOTR2 are referring to my pic, not your question
i never finished it, the fucking mugger always ended up killing me.
That or I just gave up because that game was difficult unless you were old enough to into detective shit ( which I was not)
I think I was like 6 when it came out
I remember looking at that cover and flipping it over, but then I seen pic related and forgot about it, kinda sucks cause it looks pretty good.
not really that forgotten, but I'm playing it right now
>if you dont know what game this is, i dont want to know you
is that a remake or something by the way? I don't remember any of the original kids looking like that unless he was one of those useless ones. I only ever do Dave, Bernard and the nigger for ez-mode
Hopefully I am not the only one
i've been trying to find a copy of this (not on ebay, i don't trust those faggots) for years. One of the only NES games I'd pay over 200 dollars for (complete in box only, of course)
> Mfw wanted this game for christmas one year.
> Mfw the one thing i actually asked
for didn't come.
> Mfw deprived of good game.
> Was bitter as fuck.
> Thank you for opening that wound.
This and the first one kicked ass, as soon as they removed the 4 player co-op, the series was deadout
>none of you faggots even got this with your first PC
i forget exactly how, but i know there's a castle somewhere you can steal some good armor from. Once you got the antimatter spell on the wizard and could start killing dragons for dragon armor/swords or whatever they called it, the game got really easy. I played the hell out of it, probably my most hours played on the snes except for the game in my pic, which was also awesome
f-19 stealth fighter. you could get through the copy protection by guessing and eventually you'd recognize the plane designs.
niche as fuck, but my favorite shmup of that console generation. amazingly creative and unique gameplay
