What do you think is the most-dangerous/violent/ghetto/crime-ridden city in America? And why?
Also, fucked-up/scary ghetto stories? Have you been robbed? Beaten up? Jumped? Shot at? Chased?
1.) Detroit, Michigan
2.) New Orleans, Louisiana
3.) Gary, Indiana
4.) Camden, New Jersey
5.) East St. Louis, Illinois
6.) Flint, Michigan
7.) St. Louis, Missouri
8.) Memphis, Tennessee
9.) Birmingham, Alabama
10.) Columbia, South Carolina
I normally have 25 spots on the list, with multiple cities from the same state lumped together, but I wanted to try to just start off with the worst of the worst places in the U.S. and see what other people think about my list and what other cities get mentioned.
Also, if you have lived in or spent time in the city you mention and you have a personal experience as to why you believe it is dangerous/ghetto/violent, please feel free to post a story.
> Pic related: A police car from the Oakland Bay Area that was vandalized after the George Zimmerman verdict.
I deal poker at a casino in a big poker room, so I get to interact with and talk to people from lots of places around the country and this often offers me opportunities to ask people about places I have not been to. And there's a regular player who typically comes in several days per week who is from Oakland, Ca, and he has confirmed for me that Oakland is a fucked-up place with an abundance of crime and violence. He's mentioned before that a significant number of the people from the street he grew up on have been murdered.
Well, I was talking to him over the weekend and he was telling storied about having been to Puerto Rico and Hawaii and that he has been to quite a few cities around the U.S. and he mentioned that there was only one place where he actually felt uncomfortable/concerned/scared, and it was (see attached picture)
> Pic related: The City this guy mentioned as being the only place he thought to himself that he "would not want to be in that motherfucker at night time."
Chicago is most definitely deserving of being mentioned (particularly, the south side, from what I've been told) and I've pretty much always had it on the list, until I decided to shorten the list and change things up a little.
> Here's what I would normally write to start this thread:
If I had to come up with a quick list of the most-dangerous cities in America, it'd be something like this:
1.) Detroit, Mi
2.) Flint, Mi
3.) Gary, In
4.) Camden, NJ
5.) East St. Louis, Il
6.) Memphis, Tn
7.) Charleston, SC
8.) Prichard, Al
9.) Chicago, Il
10.) New orleans, La
11.) Baltimore, Md
12.) Jackson, Ms
13.) Mobile, Al
14.) Stockton, Ca
15.) Chester, Pa
16.) Philadelphia, Pa
17.) Richmond, Ca
18.) Oakland, Ca
19.) Youngstown, Oh
20.) Pine Bluff, Ar
21.) Atlanta, Ga
22.) Houston, Tx
23.) Wilmington, De
24.) Little Rock, Ar
25.) Cleveland, Oh
There surely are other places deserving of being mentioned, so feel free to mention any place(s) you think should also be included. Obviously, LA and NYC have lots of crime, but the places I listed seem to have particularly-violent cultures and a higher per capita-crime rate.
So, what do some of y'all on here say is the baddest place in the U.S.? Is it where you live now or are originally from? Personally, I live in Arizona, on the outskirts of Phoenix, and there's certainly crime here, but I've tried to keep my ass out of trouble for many years now, so I don't have many good stories to share.
However, I'd like to hear about the place(s) y'all think are the worst of the worst!
Grew up just outside of flint and used to work downtown there. I definitely seen some shit, people walking around with guns, 300+ lbs hookers walking up to your car.
Lived in Chicago for a while, a couple of scary situations with people tripping on acid and what no.
Fucking Detroit. By far the scariest for me. Had my window busted out to steal a backpack. Standing on the curb while like 10 people got shoot in the middle of the street. Seen all kinds of drug deals, hookers, etc.
> And here's another list that I've included in previous threads:
1.) Detroit, & Flint, Mi
2.) Gary, In
3.) Camden, Newark, Trenton, & East Orange, NJ
4.) Chicago, Il
5.) East St. Louis, Il
6.) Oakland, Stockton, Fresno, & Richmond, Ca
7.) St. Louis, & Kansas City, Mo
8.) New Orleans, La
9.) Cleveland, Cincinnati, & Youngstown, Oh
10.) Memphis & Nashville, Tn
11.) Washington D.C.
12.) Philadelphia, & Chester, Pa
13.) Baltimore, Md
14.) Little Rock, & West Memphis, Ar
15.) Atlanta, Ga
16.) Houston, & Dallas, Tx
17.) Birmingham, & Mobile Al
18.) Wilmington, De
19.) Oklahoma City, & Tulsa Ok
20.) Bridgeport, & New Haven, Ct
Here is the thing about Chicago. The South side and even more the West side are scary as fuck. But the rest of the city is pretty fucking safe.
Flint is just dirty and sad all over. Almost no redeeming qualities.
Detroit has some cool areas and is getting better, but no where is really safe.
Thanks for posting! I'm curious, did you actually get to spend much/any time in the rougher parts of Detroit, Chicago, and Flint (assuming that Flint actually has some nice areas)?
If so, would you really say that Detroit is more fucked-up and scarier than even the bad parts of Chicago and Flint? They are all seem like really dangerous places, but there does just seem to be something about Detroit that makes it hardcore and tough and scary. It's like everyone from Detroit is tough, like they have been hardened by the cold weather and the poverty and the crime and culture there. Would you agree with this?
Also, have you been to any of the other really fucked-up cities in the Midwest? Cleveland? Youngstown, Oh? Kansas City? Gary, In? East Chicago, in? East St. Louis, Il? St. Louis, Mo?
By the way, if you have some time, you feel like sharing some more stories about your experiences in Detroit, Flint, Chicago? If so, I'd be glad to read them. And I'll try to find some posts from previous threads about scary shit that has gone down in cities around the U.S. There are two stories (not mine) that I usually share to try to get things started in these threads, one about Camden, NJ, and the other about Cleveland, oh.
Surprised there is no Fresno, CA.
I live their and shit is crazy. The other day two niggers were fighting. So the dad of the first nigger shoots the other nigger. Then the dad of the other nigger comes out and shoots the dad of the first nigger. But I suppose it's still better than most cities since these niggers still have fathers.
This is just some run of the mill shit here.
To try to start things off, here's a re-write I did of a story someone posted in a previous thread about getting beaten up in Camden, NJ.
Basically, the story went something like this:
> Mexican kid/guy, about 18, 6'2'' and 200 lbs, fairly muscular, goes to stay with grandmother in Camden
> been there for a few days, decides to walk to the store for grandmother, by himself
> apparently, a very bad idea
> walks inside store, big, older white guy clerk immediately says that he should not be there, that it's not safe for him
> Mexican kid/guy walks out of the store after making purchase and is encountered by 3 large, black males walking down the sidewalk
> one of the black guys says that one of them dropped their bag of dope and that they saw him pick it up and take it
> Mexican kid/guy says he is legitimately frightened, as the 3 black males are huge and don't appear to be fucking around
> Mexican kid/guy nervously says that he did not take their drugs and that he did not want any trouble
> the 3 black males decide that he deserves to get violently beaten up, so they immediately start to do so
> Mexican kid/guy says that the 3 black males all start punching him violently and he falls to the ground and is getting pummeled
> while on the ground, one of the black males starts grabbing his fingers and literally starts breaking them, he ends up with 3 fingers broken
> while this beating is happening, a cop car pulls up and blares his siren, the 3 black males start walking away, Mexican kid/guy feels like crying, because he is so happy
> cop pulls away without even getting out of his car
> apparently, in Camden, someone getting jumped by 3 guys was not important enough for the cop to get out of his car and check on the victim
> after that experience, the Mexican kid/guy stated that he did not go out in Camden again before moving back home
> Pic related: A rooftop view in Camden, New Jersey
The guy who originally posted the story that I posted here >>583888348 told it in a better fashion than I just did; but, I'm sure you get the gist of what happened.
As for Camden being a really shitty place, in the same thread that the guy shared the story about getting jumped, another person also posted, a white kid (around 16-17, iIrc), and told a story about having gotten lost after driving his parents car home from a concert and ending up in Camden. I don't recall the specifics, but I think he was at a stop sign/stoplight and just got ambushed by someone on the street who smashed through his side window and dragged him out of the car. Ultimately, he said that he ended up getting curbed-stomped and almost died, literally. He said that the only thing that saved his life was some foreign shop-owner running outside with a shotgun and screaming at the people trying to beat him to death. And this happened because he was a white kid driving a nice car through their neighborhood.
I hadn't realized it, but based on lots of posts in previous threads, New Jersey apparently has several absolutely terrible cities in it. Besides Camden, people have claimed that Patterson, East Orange, Trenton, Newark, and Jersey City are all ghetto cities with rampant crime and truly dangerous areas. Overall, though, it seems as though almost everyone agrees that Camden is the worst city in NJ; and, likely, the most-dangerous/fucked-up city on the East Coast. People have compared Camden to a little Detroit. And many people have stated the same thing about Flint, Gary, and East St. Louis.
So, anyone looking to post some stories tonight??
I was everywhere in flint. Played rugby off some state streets. Worked just off mlk. both of which are signs of a shitty neighborhood in almost every city. idk, it is hard for me to judge flint because it is pretty much my home town. So, I never felt completely un safe.
Been to a few rough areas of Detroit. I don't advise it especially if you are white. mostly stayed around downtown. But if you just miss getting shot, your view of the city changes.
I never spent much time in the super bad neighborhoods of Chicago, but I heard from a friend that knows both cities Chicago gets to be the scariest.
I have done cleveland and st. louis, (lots of others obviously.
One you are overlooking is Saginaw. It is a little north of flint and is close to a top 5 crime rate, it just gets over shadowed.
If you're not exaggerating about this story, that is pretty fucking wild! And I have had Fresno included on the list several times, as people have mentioned that it deserves to be included. There have been lists I've posted that included several cities from California, like Oakland, Richmond, Stockton, Fresno, San Jose, San Diego, Los Angeles, Compton, Watts.
Do you have any more stories about Fresno you;d like to share?
Btw, from what has been stated in previous posts about Fresno, I was of the impression that the majority of the problems in the city were caused by Mexicans. Would you say that is true?
Thanks for replying. Due to posts in previous threads like this, I usually have Saginaw and Pontiac included on the list; but as I mentioned in the OP, I was trying to trim down the list and give others the opportunity to suggest places.
Would you really consider Saginaw to be close to being on the same level as Flint or Detroit? Is it really that bad there?
Also, have you heard of Rockford, or maybe it's Rockport, Illinois? People have posted in previous threads and claimed that it's really fucked up there.
About the mexicans, yes. Mostly. The east and south side of town is where the blacks live almost exclusively. North is for the whiteys.
Here's a story from when I was younger and lived in Clovis, which is literally right next to Fresno. You cross a street to go from Fresno to Clovis and it's supposed to be a much safer area filled with badass cops who do their job really well (for white people)
>Coming home from Safeway with friend after getting candy and shit
>Fat bitch yells at us from her balcony, "Hey, call 911!"
>Think it's just stupid Drama.
>Friend says, "Dude, call them! I saw some dude chokehold this bitch!"
>Freak out a bit and call (I was a huge pussy then)
>Friend tries to play hero and kicks down the door
>mfw this crazy dude starts chasing us with 2 knives
>mfw I still have a face
>Crazy dude tries to drag bitch to his car by hair.
>Hear cop sirens, dude drops bitch and bails
>Six cars in pursuit of this asshole, crazy bitch safe.
>Everyone now laughs at me cause I screamed like a girl.
Why do you say this? Detroit (along with Camden, Gary, Flint, Memphis, New Orleans, and East St. Louis) is one of the cities that almost everyone agrees is fucking wild and legitimately scary in the bad areas.
And if you don't think that Detroit is that bad, are there any cities in America that you do think is scary?
Graffiti artist here.
I've been robbed a few times well writing at night, but most interesting happened in Syracuse NY when I was 18, the goes like this.
>Leave apartment at 7:30PM
>Walk along railroad tracks
>finally come across bridge I'd spotted the week prior.
>Spend around 20 minutes actually writing
>Paint on my hands from stencil work
>Walking back along the tracks
>Take different route home, to be safe
>Really bad side of the city
>Walking along fairly empty street near a park
>Notice three nigra males a bit farther up the street
>Cross the street to avoid any confrontation
>They cross too
>about to become nigrafood
>We pass, nothing happens.
>they turn around
>Short one trips me by stomping on my shoe
>They tell me not to move
>Steal my backpack
>rip off my sunglasses
>try stealing my shoes, by now I'm fighting back.
>Bigger two running with my backpack already
>smaller one calls it quits and I keep shoes.
>Decide not to chase.
>mfw I see them jogging up behind me about 5 minutes later.
>they must not want witnesses.
>I turn around and stand staring
>smaller one has backpack.
>fucking hands it to me.
>explains in nigra speak how they found my Montana paint in it.
>Tell me not to stress, that they didn't know
>Tell me they have respect for me
>thank them and make my way home.
I still never got my sunglasses back
I'm not gonna lie, that would be truly frightening to experience, especially, as a younger kid. Do you know if they ended up catching the guy? Did you find out what was going on with the guy and the girl? Was it a domestic relationship situation, as I assume? And didn't anyone else try to get involved and help to protect you and/or the girl from the guy with the knives?
Chicago is as safe as you can get. Lived there myou whole life no issues.
Of course when you're a crackhead and it's 3am and you take your infant to a gang park to score, then no shit it's dangerous.
The media blasts all the shootings and killings as out of control, it's very centralized to a few locations and it's mostly gang related or accidental because of nearby gang activity
>Also, have you heard of Rockford, or maybe it's Rockport, Illinois?
nah, that's no bad...
Chicago projects and ghettos are what you want to avoid. The gangs are out of control there, plus Chicago politics are so corrupt it's ridiculous.
Yeah, the nice areas of Chicago are generally fine. It's mostly gangs just killing eachother...
That's a pretty interesting story. And I'd have been fucking scared, too, with 3 dudes trying to rob me while I'm walking by myself at night time. So, they had respect for you for being a graffiti artist? Also, why they were robbing you, did they punch or try to hurt you at all?
I have specifically included Newburgh on the list several times, specifically because people have posted about it in previous threads. How long ago was this when you lived there? have you been back since you moved out of the city? And why was it so bad? Got any stories? Or any other cities you've lived in to compare it to?
It was indeed a domestic issue. Dude was crazy meth junky and bitch was his bitch. They did catch the guy and everyone was safe, but nobody would testify because apparently this dude was a gang banger and nobody wanted to take the risk. Here's another slightly tamer story. I say tame because this kinda shit can and does happen in any city of moderate size.
>Be at school
>Go to performing arts charter school inside the mall. It's like an office building basically, no more than 100 kids.
>Front door faces out into parking lot
>Get there early, only 5 other people there.
>Look out door, see Mexican dude with gun trying to break into cars and failing. Old, black lady is security guard, tries to stop him. He fires, she screams and runs.
>She sees us and makes a break for our doors, which are locked on the outside, but open from the inside.
>mfw two guys held it shut tightly so she couldn't get in.
>Thug dude takes a couple of shots at our door
>Runs into street to jack a car, gets run over a little
>Keeps running out of sight, probably caught because this guy was fucking stupid.
There is a reason this man resorted to crime. He is an idiot. He fired 9 rounds that day, based on the news. Nobody got hit. He tried to jack about 10 cars, based on camera feed, and got into none of them. Tried to jack a car and failed.
But you can avoid cottage green by taking the blue or red line. You can avoid the west and south side by taking the eisenhower or Dan Ryan or Kennedy. If you gotta go through a sketchy spot you can take North Ave or Madison.
I have partied in sketchy spots, definitely kept my awareness up but shit, homes wanna get down just like you. Just stay away from parks or drug hook ups.
Here's a story that was posted about an experience in Cleveland.
>>go to see a concert in cleveland
>>never been to cleveland should be fun

I'm seeing New Orleans show up a lot.
Is the French Quarter safe or is it shitty and fucked up too? Have never been to the USA but I was hoping to visit the Quarter.
My dad lived in new windor,ny but I would stay with my gangsta ass cousin. This one time we almost got jumped by a group of hood kids..no older than 13 they had knives and shit . By far the most hood city I've spent some time in
My knees got a bit scraped up from the fall, and they'd kicked me a few times to keep me from trying to stand up. But nothing serious.
They got in and out in less than a minute or two , it definitely wasn't their first time. I'm not sure if it was just having found the paint and seeing my fingers, which where covered in green and black from the tag, or if they'd actually seen my tags before and known me that way. I was pretty shook and didn't bother to ask since I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
Well, what are you waiting for? Tell us some motherfucking N'awlins stories! Would you say that it is really as bad as people say it is in the ghetto areas of New Orleans? Do you think it's deserving of being in the #2 spot? Lower? Higher?
Where is this city? I don't think I've even heard of it before reading your post. What's it like there? Are there lots of gangs? Crime? Violence? Got any stories about the area that you want to share this morning?
Also, no. Nobody tried to help us. Fresno is a place where dreams go to die and apathy consumes the soul. It just so happened my friend recently moved their from Texas, where I'm ASSUMING people are a little more likely to help those in need.
In retrospect, I think we may have actually saved her life.
/pol/ starts making racist threads and you all fall for it straight away. Sad.
Opa-Locka, FL is pretty good. "The Triangle" has had record breaking murder rates per capita... the police still only go in there for sweeps and only with the help of state police.
This video will make you want to visit:
I wouldn't have even thought about including any cities from Connecticut, but in previous threads, people kept mentioning Bridgeport, New Haven, and some other city (that starts with or has a "y" in it, I think) and claiming that there are some legitimately bad places in Ct. People have also mentioned other relatively small cities in the northeast, like Wilmington, De, Chester, Pa, and some city in Maine, if I recall correctly.
You got any stories about Bridgeport or New Haven? And have you been to any other gangster cities to compare these places to?
I would say that, in all likelihood, you almost certainly saved her life. By the way, what color was the guy and the girl from this story? I'm guessing possibly white, because of the meth reference. However, do they Mexicans and blacks there in Fresno often do meth, too?
I have often included several cities form Florida on the list. Typically, Miami, Orlando, Jacksonville, and the only other placed I've lived besides Arizona is the Tampa/St. Petersburg area, where I lived for almost 5 years, and they both have some pretty rough areas; but Opa-Locka is a place I'm not familiar with. Where is it located? Down south, close to Miami, I'm guessing?
Is this a joke? By pretty much all accounts, Gary, Indiana, is one of the most-violent, crime-ridden cities in the country. People say that if you are from out of town, i.e. white, and passing through at night, you don't stop at red lights or stop signs, because you can literally get robbed, carjacked or killed at any time.
I'll see if I can find the screenshot I took of a story a guy posted about being ambushed while driving through Gary on his way to Chicago.
> Pic related: The screenshot I took of a story a guy posted about being ambushed while driving through Gary on his way to Chicago.
Not in USA, but related I suppose?
>>Living in shitty West Sydney (Australia) like 6 years ago
>>At small crappy 70s style plaza/arcade, sitting and drinking Dr Pepper with friend
>>Guy comes hurtling down escalators to my right, like jumping 3 steps at a time carrying a backpack
foot tall NSW police officer with massive moustache in tow
This cop got to the top of the elevator, and instead of running down, he fucking stretched out his arms and legs, and JUMPED like a good 4 metres distance in front, fucking flew down an entire fucking storey of escalators like batman or something and crashed into this guy at the bottom, slammed him into the ground and held him there telling him not to move. I'm pretty sure the guy he was chasing was either knocked out or shit scared because he didn't move. The sound his head made though when the cop landed on him made my stomach turn, it was so deep I felt it in my chair a few metres away.
Also the same day:
>>walking back from TAFE (a kind of college we have here in Australia) in the middle of broad daylight on a busy highway (anyone know Mt Druitt near the train station/TAFE?)
>>Suddenly my shirt is over my face
>>Being pulled in a random direction
>>Got my shirt off over my face and 3 fine dim skinned members of society are rummaging through my backpack
>>"U fukn tell da cops m8 we'll fuckn know, we'll fkin kill u cunt" or some dirty turban dialect
>>Took off with textbook on Microsoft Office and C++
I guess they won, given that the textbooks cost more than the programming course itself.
Got other stories if anyone is interested in stuff that happens in AU instead of USA.
>ut Opa-Locka is a place I'm not familiar with. Where is it located? Down south, close to Miami, I'm guessing?
Yeah, just north. The Triangle is where state road 9 creates a triangle with the streets on a diagonal.
Apparently in 2004 had the worst crime rate of any US city. Hasn't gotten much better either. Cops are all corrupt, mayor even went to jail for stealing a cadillac. It's the joke of South Florida.
Living in Atl i can tell you its not that bad. There are one or 2 bad places outside the city just like anywhere but the coty itsself is great during the day. Its mostly fucking niggers and homeless that fuck it up downtown. The cops could clean it up but are lazy as shit. If you come here just stay in the heavy traffic areas or during the day and its great.
I'm from CT, and I can assure you that while they're smaller cities, Bridgeport, New Haven, and Waterbury are some of the worst in the country. Ridiculously high amounts of crime for cities with populations of only ~200,000.
East haven here
The places don't seem that bad but they are. I had a conversation the other day and was told New haven is the 4th most crime ridden city. I don't know if this is true though.
He was white and she was mexican and they all do meth. Everyone does meth here. I used to live upstairs from a buncha crack heads who were black. Luckily I was "friends" with them since the head hancho of the household was like a drug dealing pimp. I stayed on his good side so I didn't have to worry as much about getting fucked with. I honestly need to get out of this town. The gang shit isn't SO bad since I can usually get on the good side of the right people but there is zero opportunity here for personal growth. That's probably why everyone does drugs or kills people.
I actually heard some black kids complaining the other day on the subway that DC has lost its rep because its becoming safe.
Is Miami legitimately fucked-up and terrible? I thought it was that way, and I had included it on the list when I first started doing these threads (mostly, due to having seen the city featured on The First 48 so frequently - which is the same reason I came to realize that Memphis is such an incredibly dangerous place), but people kept posting that it's not that bad, so I took it off of the list.
Would you folks from the Miami area say that it's deserving of being included in the Top 25? Or the Top1 10? Do you think it's comparable to Memphis? Or New Orleans? And what do you guys know about Columbia, South Carolina? Or Birmingham/Prichard, Alabama? Or Jackson, Mississippi? Any of you guys been to any of those areas of the South? And if so, what are your thoughts of these places?
Also, do you think that Miami is worse than Orlando and Jacksonville?
Due to having started several of these threads over the last few months, I've read that many times about D.C. having become a much safer place in recent years. And I had not realized that. People have said that in the '80s and '90s, though, it was as scary and violent and crime-ridden as any place in the country.
It seems that Washington D.C. and Baltimore have often been two of the most-dangerous places in America. And if B-Mo is anything like it is depicted to be in The Wire, that's not a place I'd want to live in/visit/pass through.
Btw, would you say that Fresno's bad areas are comparable to Oakland's bad areas? What about Stockton? Or San Francisco? Or San Jose? Have you been to any of these places? And what are the cops like in cities like that? Hardcore and ready-to-rumble, I assume? Due to having to deal with so many violent criminals and gangbangers.
It's not so much Miami as it is places like Liberty City and Opa-Locka. They're part of Dade County. But, those are considered Miami metropolitan area, so, a lot of people group them.
If you group Opa-Locka, Liberty City, Little Haiti, etc. in there... I'd say Miami is in the Top 25 no problem.
Depends on the area, sorta like Miami in that respect.
> SC, AL, MS
..they're not so bad.
>Miami vs Orlando and Jacksonville
Miami is worse.
First of all, I only know about those cities what I've heard in the news. My only real experience with crime is in Fresno so I can't say for sure. From what I've heard from people with more experience, Stockton for sure is worse.
Based on what people tell me, Fresno has actually gotten a lot better since the 80's and 90's, it's real problem is just that it's a jobless shit hole. A lot of the crime that goes on here is crime of necessity as oppose to doing it to be some hard ass gangster thug.
As for the cops, my experiences with them are usually positive. But I'm also white and very non threatening. I'm certain in a place like Fresno that matters. And while my opinions may be colored from that, from what I've noticed the cops are actually pretty good. They're ready to handle business, but they know restraint from what I've seen. I have never heard of a cop getting outright abusive with someone. If someone gets fucked with by cops, it's usually necessary. I think there's only one small neighborhood in Fresno where cops don't go. For obvious reasons, I don't go their either.
DC is actually a pretty great city these days. all of the bad has been pretty much pushed into Prince George's County in Maryland. Great Food, Great night life, Decent Bar Scene, etc. The schools still suck but that will change in a generation.
Baltimore, on the other hand, is getting worse, not better. THere are like 4 nice parts of the city and the rest of it is a colossal shithole.
>The Wire was dead on
big ups from sweden, what do you write?
On a serious note, would you say that the Haitians are a major problem in the Miami area? What about Cubans? Are they both largely troublemakers? And I'm not trying to troll or start some racial shit; I'm genuinely curious what it's like there and who seems to be the cause of most of the problems down there. And since you've mentioned Little Haiti a couple times, I'm guessing that they are probably a major contributor to the problems in the Miami area.
As for Memphis, it seems to pretty much be universally recognized as being a truly fucked-up city with an abundance of crime and violence. Similar to Detroit and Camden, in that regard. Also, while New Orleans surely has some nice areas, people seem to feel that the bad parts there are fucking awful and are as bad as anywhere in the country.
Also, about SC, Al, and Ms, I would not have thought of them as being rough, rugged, hardcore places, but several people have mentioned them in previous threads. Someone even posted about Prichard, Alabama, and claimed that there is an area that is fenced off to keep people away from others, and there there is a river by this area, and that people were swimming across the river to rob and kill people for their food in the drive-thru of some fast food restaurant. And I was dealing (poker) to two guys from Alabama over the weekend and when I asked them about Prichard, they said it is extremely bad there and that they played a football game against the high school in Prichard and that their coaches warned them after the game to not go shake hands with the other team and to get directly back to the bus so that they could leave immediately. He also mentioned that there was a police helicopter circling the game the entire time. And they said that Birmingham's bad parts are similar.
As for Columbia, SC, being one of the most crime-ridden and violent cities, someone mentioned how there was even a movie/documentary recently made about the gang and drug problems there.
I lived in New Haven when I first moved out of home. I went out to the bar one night a few years later. (Too poor to go downtown). Turned out to be a nignogging bar. Everything was fine for a while until like half of an entire gang showed up. Turned out to be a smaller number of a rival gang there. They took it outside (suprising civility for these types). Basically everyone pulled a gun and one nignog actually fired it and shot a dude dead. A riot ensued. Someone caught it on tape but I cant find the video.
Ive also lived in Pilstown, IR. When i was a kid I saw iRA riots.
My house in Bridgeport was robbed 3 times within 2 years. Not that we had anything to steal.
Idk I have more. Im poor as fuck and ive moved alot. Cant greentext these cause im on mobile and cant be bothered
while I admit I do get a perverse sense of pride in the respect Detroit is getting from you folks, if you know your way around the city and keep your eyes open, you'll be okay. stress is on keeping your eyes open.
Orangevale aint shit. Its a Suburb of sacramento.
That anon is a dumb ass.
And the criminals are mainly just wanna be rednecks and tweakers tryin for a fix
>lived there and next town over my whole life
>16-18 was part of a "gang"
Haitians actually tend to keep to themselves because of immigration, they don't have the free pass like Cubans. Cubans are mostly just fat and dumb... Niggers cause most the problems still. Little Haiti problems are more nigger related, to my understanding.
You've got to be joking me by saying that The Wire was realistic about how things are in Baltimore? Is it really THAT fucking bad there??
Yes, he was describing how he hit the guy in the head with his skateboard and the trucks on the skateboard landed on his face. And I not only completely understand why he did that, I commend him on it. Hopefully, he did die, because a person like that has no business living. Not joking.
I don't think that people are suggesting that you can't walk through any part of Detroit without getting robbed, assaulted, or killed; but are suggesting that there are extremely dangerous areas around the city where there are legitimately dangerous people who are desperate and/or prone to be violent and are looking for opportunities to confront/attack others. I genuinely believe that being tough, hard, and violent is a big part of the culture there. And it might seem stupid to some of you, but I believe that is a big part of the reason why Eminem is such a good rapper. He was hardened and toughened by having grown up in Detroit. I think just living there makes most people tough and somewhat hardened/jaded.
I just want to tell you I really like your posts they are really interesting even I'm from Europe. Will you publish these stories somewhere or what's your goal with that at all? Will you make a study or an article?
Also I have only one story from a town from Hungary. We usually have trouble with gypsies (niggers of Hungary). They would be even worse than niggers if they could carry a gun I think.
Holy shit, you niggers scared me. I have family in Detroit, but I will prpbably never visit them now that I've read some of the shit you posted.
Dutchfag here. Amsterdam is pretty safe, except at night in the downtown area. Lots of tourists getting robbed and beaten. I live outside the city in the more quieter area. Mostly sandniggers here so lots of break ins and the like. It"s safe here during the night though. Not like in the city center near the red light district and entertainment squares
No, I'm that faggot who's posting about Fresno. When I was a kid, my dad got hit in the dotcom bubble and had to work setting up fucking dish satellites in Fresno. Been here ever since, more or less.
My dad moved back though, as did my brother. They're in Natomas though. Also nice area, mostly.
From NYC. My neighbor was being robbed by two hispanic males. Intervene. Got pistol whipped and knocked out. Apparently they were the kind to con into apartments by saying they are cablevision etc. and would rob you then leave. Had to go to the precent to try to identify them but none were there.
The thing people dont realize about CT is that even thought its top1 or 2 richest states in the country, that wealth is controlled by around 10 towns.
The rest of them are poor, or immigrants, or black. There are alot of areas where you need to look iver your shoulder.
I moved to Portland, OR and I found myself being sketched just out of habbit and realized I didnt have to be. Even the homeless people here are less shitty.
you're on the money as far as being tough and hard as a big part of the culture. the violence is there too but comes from a different set of circumstances than what bred Detroiters thick skins. JADED is the best word you can use. There isn't a city in America that has heard more empty promises than Detroit.
The tourist spots. Near the dam square, Rembrandtplein, Leidseplein with the Red light district as the worst place to be. It's mostly tourists getting their shit handed to them at night. Us who live here know better than to visit the Red Light district at 4 on the night while either stoned or drunk or a combination of both. Recently there has been some nigger selling white heroin as cocaine to tourists. 3 have died so far. But again, just tourists getting the bad part of Amsterdam.
there were definitely alot of shady characters hanging around those areas when i was there, even in the day. i could easily spot a couple sizing me up to pickpocket, so i gave em the death stare and they fucked off. i can see how it'd be easy pickings though with the amount of dumbass yanks stumbling around the place high as a kite.
I remember going through camden
>Thugs hanging outside park drinking
>Bottle flys at them
>Theyre like wtf
>20 nigs with bats and broken bottles come running
>Niggs stabbed ,all hell breaks loose
>One nig gets wrecked by a baseball bat in the head
>Nig starts spasming
>Nig attackers disperse
Miami beach over the barrier island is fine and just the other side by downtown & Brickell are also fine but go west or north and it's a war zone of Nigs killing Nigs on a daily basis.
What the fuck.
So in case i ever have to move to murrica where the hell do i have to live to avoid all this violent nigger crap?
I was thinking North Dakota or something.
Something with harsh winters so it feels like home and keeps the niggers away.
Hows North Dakota like anyways?
I have to tell you rn that Flint is way worst than detroit. I was born in flint and would rather be lost in detroit than flint you get caught in the wrong side of town they will come at you for being white
Flint, MI native here. I was robbed at gunpoint once
>High as hell at my friends house at about 1am on a Friday
>Decide to go to beer store to get some beers before 2am when all stores stop selling it
>Bring only enough money to buy the beer because momma didn't raise no fool
>go to store and purchase beer
>Walking out and a guy stops me and my friend
>Says he is with FANG (Flint Area Narcotics Group) bunch of ex cops/military that work to stop drug violence in Flint
>Has a FANG shirt on and everything
>Asks why we smell like weed
>Lifts his shirt to reveal a gun and says to give him our weed
>We dont have any fucking weed
>pulls out the gun and points it at us and tells us to give him our money then
>Friend has pocket change from his beer purchase and I have a dollar and change
>Give it to him and he wants more
>Tell him we dont have any more
>Makes us get in our car, me driving and buddy in backseat behind me
>He sits in passenger front seat with gun kind of on both of us
I'm glad this thread is still going. I ran to Circle K to get a refill and to Jack In The Box to get a couple croissants and was thinking that it have been pruned while I was gone.
With that stated, I was going to post a link to a previous archived thread like this, so here it is: http://4archive.org/b/thread/573813923
I haven't scrolled through the entire archived thread, but I think there were some good stories in that one. Check it out.
> Pic relates: The nice young people of Detroit saying hello to the Google Maps van, I suppose.
>Makes us drive to an atm and tells me to get out of car and take out my money
>I have like 10 dollars in checking account, but like 5 grand in savings
>Keep going to checking and seeing insufficient funds to withdraw and hope he's too dumb to make me go to savings
>It works and we leave ATM
>makes me drive down these terrible back roads in neighborhoods with all boarded up houses. no life in sight
>Finally says pull over
>goes into crazy mode searching car for money or anything of value
>finds a (fake) gold chain and a bag of change (mostly pennies)
>Tells us to stay out of his liquor store and never go there again
>gets out and runs into one of the abandoned houses
>drive back home shaking and drink beer and get high
I still don't know what I would have ended up trying to do if he figured out I had about 5k in my savings account and made me start pulling it out... He probably would have had to kill me.
I Live in Eastpointe (East Detroit). A block makes a difference. Stray too far in the wrong direction and you will surely be either robbed or killed.
Yes, it's that fucking bad. I mean there's no Hampsterdam or cops pretending to be cereal killers, but that area where hampsterdam was is real.. hundreds and hudnreds of abandoned rowhouses boarded up. huge swaths of west baltimore are like that. it's a total moonscape.
Me and my dad once drove up to Fresno for a job. Place looked like an industrial shit hole with weird, spaced out, high desert/farm homes. Saw paisa riding bike at night with mini baseball bat sticking out of backpack. We kept our doors locked.
>Two guys I grew up with were actors on the Wire
> Ravens tail gate street has used condoms and needles on it
> Been told I am too white to be in a store before
> Buying Doritos drunk in 7 eleven after attending a wedding, wearing a suit, everyone thought I was a cop
I could go on...
I'm glad there is some SJ sense left in /b/
You dumb racist inbred rednecks in the flyover states should just stop posting.
Blacks are good people. I should know. I live in palo alto hills, right next to east palo alto!
and I have no problems with blacks, you racists!
Move nearly anywhere where the people are allowed to conceal carry and it won't be a problem. Much fewer of these things happen in areas where people are known to be armed. It's a culture thing.
Ask /k/ for a list.
Thanks for the nice words. Many people will post rude, smartass comments to me about these threads, so I appreciate you saying something complimentary. As for my intentions for starting these threads, I just enjoy reading personal stories about other places and other people's experiences, so I decided to ask for people to post them. People have also suggested that I sue Google Docs to archive them, but I am lazy and unorganized, so I haven't tried that yet. And I actually just started archiving them recently, as I was not aware that anyone could go to the archive site and then archive it themself.
I have not been to Detroit, or anywhere in Michigan, but I can tell you from being an American and having started several of these threads, Detroit is no joke and if you don't stay out of the bad areas, you will be putting yourself in serious fucking danger. Including putting your life in danger. The rough parts there are fucking scary, I assure you!
Thanks for replying and confirming that my thoughts on this are realistic. Are you from/living in Detroit now? Have you lived in any other ghetto areas to compare Detroit to? Also, would you say that Flint is as bad as/worse than Detroit?
People have described Camden as being like a war zone, literally. And several people have stated that the cops will even tell you that if you are from out of town, you do not stop at red lights or stop signs and that you get the fuck back on the freeway ASAP and get the fuck out of Camden. People have said the same thing about Gary, Detroit, and East St. Louis. Everyone, especially, the police, realizes how truly dangerous these places can be.
Btw, assuming both of you hasve lived/spent time in Camden, how does it compare to Philadelphia? Kensington? Chester? Or to Trenton, East Orange, Jersey City, Paterson? Is Camden really the worst city on the east coast? People have suggested that it's like the Detroit of the East Coast.
A lot of America is just fine. Even in Michigan where Flint, Detroit, Saginaw, and Muskegon can be very frightening cities, there are places like Traverse City, Holland, Saugatuck, Luddington - Just beautiful areas with almost no crime and people leave their cars and houses unlocked. Just depends where you are in the state. Most of Michigan is great allthough it houses two of the worst cities in the USA
I'm a Flint native that grew up there and for the most part it was a bad but livable city. Now it is complete shit. Although I would always advocate for it, one of the things that really killed flint was medical marijuana. People started being able to grow it legally not having to worry about cops and raids go bangers started mass producing it. Then what happens when some other bangers find out your house has 20 grand worth of pot sitting in it? Well they're coming in and they're coming in hard.
People stopped robbing each other at gun point, they just come in and shoot everything and see what they find. My friend's mom; an old lady with a disability got robbed because some assholes thought her house was a growhouse. When they broke in and realized they were wrong, instead of just leaving, they put a pillow over her head and shot her in the head. That was the last straw and my wife and I moved the fuck away and never looked back.
Bro, I'm sure every one of us would be scared in that situation. How hardcore is a fucking a guy who will try to rob you and pull a gun on you while right outside of an open store? That was a pretty intense story, my man. Do you still live in Flint? Are you the guy who stated that Flint is straight-up worse than Detroit? If not, would you agree with that?
You seem to be right, people have stated that Milwaukee is no motherfucking joke. However, I couldn't list every fucking dangerous city in America. I also left out Baltimore, and Philly, and Chicago, and Los Angeles, and New York City, and many other truly dangerous U.S. cities.
Btw, do you have any stories about Milwaukee? Are you from there/do you live there now? And is Milwaukee comparable to Detroit? Chicago? Gary? Flint?
And as for Wyoming, it's probably got to be considered one of the safest states in the U.S. However, I'm pretty sure that Omaha has some fuck-up ghettos in it. And people have also posted about how Kansas, and Iowa, have some really rough areas with legitimately dangerous places in them where you can get robbed or killed.
Do you really feel that it's that dangerous just by going to the wrong neighborhood? And do you think that Detroit is as bad as people say it is? Would you rank it at #1? And, assuming you've been, how would you compare it to Flint? Or Saginaw? Or Pontiac?
Ohio is another state that seems to have several really fucked-up cities in it. Cleveland, Cincinnati, Akron, Toledo, Youngstown (which I've heard is really fucking bad).
Do either of you live in/near Baltimore now? When is the last time you were there? And have either of you been to Camden? Or Philly? If so, which is the worst out of those 3? Also, more Bodymore stories, please?
I don't have a lot of experience in Detroit to say which one I think is worse. But I can assure you that Flint is no joke. No I don't live there any more. My wife and I moved when my friend's mother was shot in the head for no reason.
Grew up in a blue collar, though mostly white, suburb very close to Detroit. Went down there a lot when I was in late teens and 20's. Seen some shit. Guy I went to high school bumped a nig at a Denny's, got a bullet in his head 5 minutes later. Another guy got a bullet in his head after a mugging leaving a bar (he lived somehow). Lots of muggings of friends who went down there.
Had a car breakdown on the freeway at night and was picked up by a white dude who offered us a ride home if we gave him gas money. The one and only time I ever hitchhiked but I wanted to get the fuck out of there. Best part? When he was driving 90 on the freeway to take us home he asked me to hold the wheel while he FREEBASED CRACK. Pants were shat. Oddly enough he dropped us off and was a nice enough guy except for the crack stuff.
Growing up there I always thought that everyone had a big city full of crime until I got older and moved away and realized how bad it was. Now when I travel and go to other cities and friends tell me how we are in "the bad part" I have to laugh because it's never even close to what I saw growing up.
Any of you michigan people make it over to the west side of the state? It is beautiful and almost crime free over here. West Michigan seems like a different planet than all the garbage on the east side.
You guys may have it bad, but come spend time in the slummier areas of South Africa. It's a supremely shit country in general.
There are no "safe areas". Only neighbourhoods where people can afford to get a top notch security system (which is roughly 10% of the city's community) and then those areas where such luxuries are things to dream of.
My stepmom was murdered in a failed robbery in 2009, by two blacks who waited outside for the alarm to be turned off and then promptly stormed in the front door. When she saw them and hit the panic button on the alarm they stabbed her with large knives. She tried to fight back but what could she do?
I've been mugged twice, and that's in a pretty afluent part of town. Took everything I had on me except my shirt and pants - phone, wallet, hoody, shoes - everything.
A friend of mine's wife died of cancer, and within a week of that happening he was hijacked at gunpoint. That was 4 years ago and the guy is still a bloody mess - at least he gets a grant for PTSD.
There's neighbourhoods in my town where if you stop at a red light, there will be 5 drug dealers at your Windows immediately, all vying for your attention. Cops don't exist there, they get killed too often.
Another friend of mine drove through Motherwell (a township near my city) and in the few kilometers he drove, he saw a dead girl and over 20 dead dogs on the sides of the road - just laying there without anyone batting an eyelid.
Plus, we have pretty much the highest AIDS rates in the world, and the worst education system ever.
Stay in America, or at least stay out of South Africa (or Africa in general) - it's a shit-hole
you probably deserve all that for living in south Africa.
you guys think it's cool to be last country on earth to remove slave status. and probably your mom still made a living out of her illegal slaves.
so fuck you.
First off, those are some awful stories and were disheartening to read. And I have no doubt that they are true. I have read other threads like this on other sites and South Africa (Johannesburg, I think it was) was mentioned many times. Besides South Africa, people also states that the ghettos and slums in Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, and the Philippines are absolutely horrible places where people get killed daily and it's not even reported.
However, one reason that I think it's different in those third world countries is because the people there aren't physically capable of defending themselves properly form the thugs/criminals/evil element.
I definitely believe that there is more crime, violence, danger and murder in places like South Africa, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and the Philippines, but if, somehow, we could transport the gangs/violent criminals from places in America like Detroit, Chicago, Camden, Milwaukee, LA, NYC, etc., they would not get bullied and run over and victimized by the gangs and criminals in these third world countries. These people are battle-tested and hardened and violent and they are not to be fucked with.
Now, I could certainly be wrong about this; but I doubt it. Anyone else want to chime in with an opinion on this?
By the way. I'm sorry to hear about the way it is in your country. It makes me sad to read about people living like that and I truly hope that things get better for people in places like that, and everywhere, for that matter!
I don't live in Detroit proper, but I'm there virtually every weekend. I've never even really been approached by anyone. Not saying it'll never happen or that it's even unlikely, but I haven't even felt unsafe there.
North Dakota is full of niggers because of the Bakken bro. Lots of sex and drug trafficking, murder, etc. And it's rural so everyone gets away with everything. Your best bet would be Wyoming, CO, or western MT, in my opinion
New Orleans reporting in. You don't hear the tiniest fraction of the shit that went on. I don't live there anymore, but people say it's as bad, but different. The city just used Katrina as an excuse to shut down all the projects, but apparently that didn't do it. The cops are in on the drug trade. The cops are filthy filthy dirty. There are some hardcore kill-whitey and rape his bitch up the ass niggers there. Glad they shut down the projects. I'm not going to cry. There were some good people in there, but sorry, your shit house had to go.
Heard a gunfight with multiple automatic weapons that went on for maybe 15 minutes, maybe fifteen units responding. The next day, total news blackout on it. Not a fucking word. We had a serial killing nigger who was killing people, dogs, and cats, saving them in a freezer, and eating them. Dahmer eat your heart out, but you never heard about it outside New Orleans. Had a detail cop at a restaurant come back later and kill everyone in the place, including another detail cop, everyone except one of the daughters of the owner, who hid in the walk-in freezer. Somebody called an IA complaint on a cop for beating up her son, so IA calls the cop and gives him the name and address of the complainer, so he calls in a hit on her. Oops, the phone was given to him by the FBI. FBI waits until the dude kills her, then busts everyone, and finds a detail of 18 cops guarding a warehouse with a huge pile of cocaine in it. Cop who called in the hit got executed over it. Look up Len Davis. Comedy gold fucking faggot nigger.
Add Passaic to your NJ list.
I have a Newark story. Went to college in Newark. One night, we venture out to buy packaged goods because it's after 10 so the beer/liquor stores are closed but you can get beer to go at bars. Our regular cheap place was closed this night. So we went lurking for a new place in the car. Found a shady looking place between Newark and Oranges I think, not really sure. Looked open lights on the windows etc. My friend waited in front in the car. I got out and went to go in but the door was locked. Went to turn back to the car and a bug black guy opens the site and said, hey we are open come on in. Nope. Back to car. I guess the neighborhood was so bad, the bar kept the door locked. Didn't want to find out how bad it was so we retreated back to the dorm.
I live in New Orleans, and have mentioned this before - but the real thing that differentiates NOLA from the rest on the list is that the violence is scattered throughout the city, and is MUCH closer to the 'good' areas than in most. In fact, here we really define it by streets or blocks, not by neighborhoods etc. If you then have to park your car a few blocks away and walk there early/late - it can get sketchy even if you're paying 3k a month for rent.
Literally a block from my house there were bloody footprints down the block a few weeks ago, and just last week some lady was slashing the shit outta people randomly walking down the street (saw the video on entensity lol). There's really no separation between the most fucked up places and the highest end tourist or local areas
Question from a EU guy who used to listen a lot of 90s rap.
Are LA notorious neigbourhoods not dangerous as much anymore? (Compton, East LA, Long Beach, South Central, Inglewood etc.).
I worked with people from East St Louis, and they were all really cool people. I've never been there though, except for a few nerve wracking wrong turns. But really, I've heard almost all of East Stank's bad reputation comes from like, 3 housing projects, and as long as you're not like, selling drugs in one of those projects, you're not in any real increased danger. Still though, like I said, I've never been there. Also,
>listing East St Louis and St Louis separately
lol. Seriously though, I'd go to East St before North, which sucks because East St is for crack and North St is for heroin. Although, you can probably get crack in North St too to be honest. But if you're not buying drugs, I would stay out of North St. Louis.
Only America has ghettos of this caliber, and only niggers live there
Iv'e been to Detroit multiple times in the last couple years. I used to go every weekend with my friends and get fucked up and rave in the abandoned warehouses. Honestly it's pretty safe just don't be a dumbass. The worst shit I actually saw in Detroit was these two massive white guys going at it in the street over some white trash mom and her mini van full of kids. The cops did see it and drive by though.
I'm not American but for some reason my relatives live in the shittiest places of America: Gary, In, Detroit, and Baltimore
Gary was the worst, by far
The place is literally Blacks looking to kill/rob everything that moves and whites that are basically all KKK. If somone dropped a nuke on that shithole, it would make the world such a better place
Detroit is ghetto and poor, but honestly, I didnt feel threatened. People are angry and they will bitch about the poverty, but they won't straight up kill/ rob you
Baltimore is like a war zone. Meaning, you get mistaken as a hostile, they will attack you. And since everyone they don't know must be against them, you just stay the fuck out of the poor areas. But there, they will attack you to "protect their hood". In Gary, they will attack you because you have something worth more than a dollar. Its like the opening seen of the Pittsburg chapter of Last of Us.
I think when your comparing cartels to american nigger street gangs the cartels win.
I know someone in Colombia and I heard a story about a guy that was shot/executed on a road in his car, and the guy lay there to rot for who knows how long since no one knew who he was in the area and no one wants to get involved. This was a rural area. No police came to check it out.
I have yet to hear anything as gruesome as what the cartels do in mexico. One story I read on the news, a van or truck pulled into a major intersection right before rush hour to drop off a like if bodies and string up some bodies from an overpass.
yeah I sat in their with my gun in plain sight until the niggers lost interest. I know they wouldn't hesitate to do it either Gary Indaina is a shit hole i never want to have the displeasure of visiting or having to drive through again
Delawarefag here. The city of Wilmington is pretty much a shithole. http://www.movoto.com/blog/top-ten/dangerous-small-cities/
Topped the list at most dangerous small cities.
The city has one of the highest per capita rates of HIV infection in the United States, with disproportionate rates of infection among African-American males. And white girls here STILL wanna fuck with niggers. Stupid. Completely stupid.
Also in 2002, Wilmington became perhaps the first U.S. city with its entire downtown area under surveillance.
The city of Wilmington is made up of the following neighborhoods:
North of the Brandywine River:
Mostly row homes. Some are decent.
Nice single family homes.
Ghetto shithole neighborhood
Not really sure, but I doubt it's any good.
>Gander Hill (Lower Brandywine Village)
Right by the prison. Not a good area at all.
Not familiar with this neighborhood
>Ninth Ward –
Originally a post-Civil War political creation, the city's Ninth Ward has long been an area with owner-occupied residences. The Ninth Ward was integrated as a result of population shifts in the 1960s and remains a stable, working-class neighborhood.
Is a housing development in the northeastern corner of the city. It was built in 1959. SHIThole.
a group of homes built in the 1920s whose corresponding streets along I-95 and Baynard Boulevard and 18th Street and Concord Avenue loosely form a triangle.
Southbridge is a total nigger haven shithole.
One of the better neighborhoods is The Highlands. Richy area. Same with Wawaset Park and Westover Hills.
Live in detroit driving my car pullover to say hi to my drunk friend who's with his friend who is smashed, his friend points a gun at my head I grab the gun and rip it out of his hands throw it as far as I can down the street drive off. Suprisingly it was a white dude he got beat up after trying that shit on some black dude, also he's facing gun charges. Karma's a bitch.
God I hope you're kidding.
"During the Fourth of July weekend alone, 74 people were shot and 12 killed"
I spent most of life there, can confirm. Grew up near Hudson and Ave D; it has its good points but the city proper is mostly a violent shithole full of criminals and crooked cops
Some of them, like Compton are not black anymore.
Some blacks have been attacked by latino gangs trying to drive them out.
Not that much safer, but now you will be shot by Brown instead of Black.
stockton checking in. Its pretty bad here. theres a huge meth problem here, and you have a lot of gangs fighting each other for control of the turf. mexican gangs vs asian gangs vs black gangs. lots of murders. old women getting beaten in parking lots in broad daylight. whats worse is theres nothing to do here, no businesses, no jobs, and the air smells like rotten sewage.
group of friends and i were walking to the BART Station after a show. We walked past a house with a bunch of niggers on the porch
They started to yell at us. We didn't respond to them cause they're niggers. One threw a brick at my friends head and then proceeded to jump us. Note we were all fucking drunk. They beat the shit out of us and stole most of our shit. My friend who got hit with the brick had to go to the hospital for a concussion and a skull fracture.
Never go to fucking Richmond
>10.) Memphis & Nashville, Tn
LOL, sort of, but not really. I lived in Memphis for 20 years, and Nashville for 10.
Memphis is consistently ranked as #1 or #2 (swapping with Detroit) in violent crimes per capita. Memphis is like 90% black and it's obvious when just driving around or reading statistics.
Nashville, on the other hand - The area I live in is 98% European American (white) and there hasn't been a murder here in years. There is no way I'd ever call Nashville a top-ranking crime-ridden city. The scariest thing here is the country music saturation.
Syracuse is not that bad of an area,
obviously some parts are ghetto but that is pretty much the trend with any metro area.
There are some really beautiful small towns north of syracuse. Its where i plan to move.
Richmond is a shit pile that is trying to be better than it should be. Around Bart is blight, but further out and it gets way better.
I used to go to shows at Bob the Baker's place under the rails.
Where are you from? And do you live in America now? Or lived here/visited here for lengthy periods of time? Are these your personal opinions from having been to these areas? Also, you're right, those 3 places are pretty much the worst of the worst. Why the fuck do your family members live in these cities?
I realize what you're saying, and, sadly, I've learned about what the Mexican cartels do in Mexico, but I don't think they could take over areas of Detroit, Gary, Camden, Flint, St. Louis, etc., because the thugs/gangsters/criminals there are just too tough and aggressive and battle-tested to not fight back with incredibly rage and violence and force, and in large numbers. Do you disagree with this?
Are you retarded? It's listed at #5 in the list in the OP. Really.
Are you from ESL? If o, tell some motherfucking stories, please! Also, got any personal pics of the area? And is ESL worse than the bad parts of St. Louis?
>Cross the street to avoid any confrontation
I fucking lost it right there. You're a fucking pussy.
Look man, I'm not the hardest piece of wood in the pile but crossing the street?
I won't say you should strut around eye-fucking every Alpha Buck Nigger you see but crossing the street sends a pretty clear message; I have something valuable to me, come and fucking get it.
live in goshen, county seat of orange county which contains Newburgh. literally all court traffic is of stupid niggers that kill and rob people. Also, Poughkeepsie a few miles north of newburgh on the river is pretty sketch now, except for vasser college campus
>mfw i live in st. paul Minnesota and don't have to worry about any of this shit
I think it might be 'shopped (and I thought that myself after finding it), but I just found it while searching Google Images for "Detroit ghetto" or something like that. However, it would certainly seem to be a reasonable and pertinent sign.
I haven't heard of that city. Where abouts is it? And is it comparable to East St. Louis? East Chicago? Or Flint or Detroit? Also, got any stories?
People have mentioned Raleigh and and Charlotte, I think, and some other fairly big city in NC that I can't think of right now, but I haven't even heard of this city in N.C. Why do you say it's so bad? And is that where you're from/live now?
Why the fuck would you post this and not mention the fucking city you are from and referring to??
Gary, In, must be a popular place for truckers to stop/travel to, because I seem to recall having read stories similar to this in previous threads. Is there a major truck stop in Gary that truckers frequent? Or do lots of things get trucked in to a certain part of the city that is bad? And from what's been described in previous threads, that place is no fucking joke and you are always at risk of being robbed/carjacked,assaulted while in Gary. Especially, if you're from out of town/white, not joking. So, smart choice by you to have your dun in your lap!
Btw, have you been to East Chicago, Indian? I have no idea where it is, but I've heard it's also a really bad area. And the same has been mentioned for the bad parts of Indianapolis.
I have had Oklahoma City and Tulsa on the list before, but it's not reasonable to include every city with really bad parts that I've heard about on the list. However, people have claimed in previous threads that those two cities are fucked-up in the bad parts. The same ahs been said for Little Rock and West Memphis, Arkansas.
You made then this way. You personally. And every other racist throughout history that oppressed black people, and then when they reacted in the expected way, went "look, look, I told you." It's your fault. You personally. You did this to them, and you hate them for what you did. Typical degenerate racist logic.
>blames OP for something he didn't do
>doesn't blame niggers for nigging
World wide, you can identify one common factor in violent, poor shitholes: they are full of niggers. This is true in Detroit, but it's even more true in South Africa. South Africa is what happens when the niggers outbreed you and take over the government.
If anything, that Saffer deserves it for not moving the fuck out of his failed nigger state.
Living in jackson mississippi i take my life in my own hands everytime i get some gas. I shot a guy in the chest when he was trying to car jack me two years ago i have no idea what happen to him he ran off after
I was addicted to mostly heroin for several years which took me several weird ass places, I live in Ohio now but parts of Philly actually are bad when I lived there but Cleveland on the east side only is pretty fucking rough. Like if you're white and don't know where to go you're inviting trouble. If you know people and are with ones who are alright it's not as bad but compared to Detroit its nothing. Had a girlfriend who was from there in college, she was black and when I went to visit her family which they lived in decent area but around in I was very very glad I was with black people while going around ha even though I still felt like I was going to get jumped a bunch, I got a lot of yells from people. Where I live in smalltown ohio now it's not bad it got pretty rough with the influx of heroin about a year ago where there's was a bunch of murders and robberies and such, then there was like 120 arrests in a single week in a town of about 25k since then it's been pretty quiet
Have you heard of Arnold, Ca? Or Angels Camp? My dad lives somewhere near there and I had not realized that it was somewhat close to Stockton. I asked him about Stockton and he immediately said that it's bad there and that he does not like going there and won't even stop there while driving through, unless he had to stop to get gas or something like that. Out family is originally from Arizona and he said that Stockton is like Phoenix, in that it's a big city (though, surely not as big as Phoenix) with lots of crime and gangs and drugs.
From what people have stated in previous threads, though, Stockton is really fucking bad. People have claimed that Stockton and Richmond and Fresno are every bot as bad as the bad parts of Oakland and Los Angeles. Would you agree with that?
I have no idea how far they are form each other, but people have specifically mentioned Richmond and Stockton in previous threads many times. Have you been to Stockton? Or Oakland? Or LA? If so, how do they compare to each other? And where are you from/do you live now?
Yeah, Memphis is one of the cities that nobody disputes is absolutely fucked-up, violent and downright scary in some places. However, I only added Nashville after people specifically mentioned that it has some rough areas and that there is now a Mexican drug/gang element in some part of the city and that it's really gotten to be a dangerous place in some parts. I don't know if it's a suburb or a neighborhood, but people have mentioned Antioch as being a rough place, iIrc, And, yes, I have become aware that there is also a city in California with that same name. I think someone may have also mentioned the Antioch in Ca. as being a dangerous place in a previous thread.
As for Nashville, though, several people mentioned that it's largely a nice city, but that it has really become bad/dangerous in the rougher parts of the city.
As for Memphis, is it as bad as people say it is?
I'm from houston and the Latino gangs are much better organized and tightly run. They will topple the blacks if they haven't already. Plus they aren't as stupid and know how to cover themselves and how the system works. They're much more efficient. The good thing is, that if you don't get involved with any of it, you'll never see it. It doesn't spill over to the rest of society near as much as black crime does.
Oh and I got shot at one point, top part of the right side of my chest, it was all good nothing life threatening actually it went in and out that was in Ohio as well being robbed shaky hands. Took 40 bucks and some dope I had on me.... and who the hell was it that said youngstown is bad? youngstown is fine nothing to bad about it at all
Yeah latinos seem like that everywhere, think mostly because they just run drugs for the most part instead of robbing and shit. I always safer and better buying drugs from them vs blacks. Whites around here are fine but tend to do meth so I never liked to fuck with them
I believe it. I've heard that Jackson is no fucking joke! And the same about Birmingham and Prichard, Alabama. There are lots of hardcore/gangster/ghetto cities in the South, that's for sure.
Care to greentext your story? If so, I'd be glad to read it.
Are you being sarcastic? Or are you really agreeing that Detroit is the hardcore/violent/dangerous place that people say it is?

Also, in case anyone is interested in checking this thread out in the future, it has been archived: http://4archive.org/b/thread/583886425
And can anyone help me with this? What is a good program to use in Firefox to be able to do a scrolling-screencap to cap an entire thread? I use FastStone Capture and it works very well in Internet Explorer, but the "Capture Scrolling Window' option will not work properly in Forefox. A reply/suggestions would be appreciated!
San Diego is not ghetto as fuck nigger.
I mean it's got some pretty shitty neighborhoods ie. North park, Logan heights, skyline park. But nowhere near as bad as these other cities.
You need to add Charleston, WV to that list. We have shootings here every other night. Somewhere is always getting raided for drugs. Our crime rate has gone through the roof in the past two years
>used the word writing instead of tagging, seems legit
>who would give back free montana cans, that shit is expensive unless you rack.(nope)
Internet graffiti writers give the game a bad name.
I'm definitely interested in reading more about Baltimore, as there seems to be quite a few people from/who've spent time there and have made me think that maybe it's deserving of being higher on the list. So, after you've copped and smoked, please feel free to post some stories!
I am of the impression that both Dallas and Houston (both being huge, largely-populated cities) have some really bad parts, but many people have claimed that neither city is really that rough, and that Dallas is not bad at all, with Houston being the rougher of the two. However, I find that hard to believe. Especially, with the cities being somewhat close to Mexico and with such huge freeways going through them. And with Houston having so many people in it and being a border state, and having seen Dallas on The First 48 many times, I have no doubt that both cities are legitimately gangster/ghetto/violent/crime0ridden in some parts.
Btw, got any stories you want to share?
I have not been to Youngstown, or anywhere in Ohio, but I have started several of these threads over the last few months and have spent dozens of hours reading them and checking out stuff online and you are the first person who has claimed that Youngstown is not bad. Many people have claimed that the bad parts of Youngstown are even worse than the bad parts of east Cleveland. There also seems to be a legitimate mob presence there, as well as the violence from drugs and gangs. So, I find it hard to believe that it's a nice place.
dude, just check out the recent news on mexishit, a bunch of students were murdered by the police, the order came from some local politicians an those were in the payroll of some druglord or some shit, anywhere out of the big cities (and even those have very bad crime ridden parts) is dangerous as fuck, some time ago one dude from NY planned to ride a bike from the us to argentina or some shit and disapeared only to be found chopped to pieces in several trash bags with his motorcyle a few steps away in the middle of nowhere
I don't recall the city, and it was probably Charleston, but someone specifically posted about West Virginia having a really fucked-up city in a recent thread. You guys have a massive problem with pills up there, right? The guy who posted about WV in the recent thread posted some stories and made it sound like a fucked-up place that would be scary to be in some parts of.
What is it like there in Charleston? Who causes most of the problems there? Are there gangs? Drug dealers? Racist hillbillies? Blacks? Mexicans? All of the aforementioned? And do you have any specific stories you'd like to share?
Also, do you believe in the Mothman? Seriously? Is the legend/story about the Mothman taken seriously there? No joke, West Virginia seems like a scary place, and I like to think about stuff like that sometimes, so I'm curious what someone from there thinks about it?
> Pic related: A picture I just found that suggests that it may be of the Mothman.
I grew up in Rockford IL. It's not a war zone or anything but it's pretty fucking close in spots. Famous for voting Taco Bell the best mexican restaurant in town.
Thanks for the Webpage Screenshot program suggestion. I'll see if there is something available for Firefox. Btw, can it do the scrolling window feature?
Where exactly is Rockford? How large is the population? Is it near Chicago? And are the bad parts there comparable to a place like East St. Louis? Or Gary?
Also, is that a true story about Taco Bell being voted as the best Mexican restaurant in the city?
Are there lots of attractive females there?
And who causes most of the trouble there?
The gentrification going on here has been very rapid and has masked some of it. A lot of people who have moved here after the recession live in places that were before absolutely intolerable. The criminal element has just changed locations, it can get pretty fucking bad. If they're new to houston and live in the loop, they're rather well-set financially and won't run into any of it. But most of them don't know about any of the wards (bloody nickel anyone?) and whatnot. As for personal stories, a couple of years ago, my girlfriend was driving home from work around midnight close to 610 and tc jester. A car full of blacks got out and tried to carjack her. 5 bullets in the car, thankfully their aim was shit. She called me right after it happened and got lost while driving away because she was so terrified and nervous. Nothing like being on the phone with a loved one you cant't help at all...
Oh one time at my girlfirends place a guy crashed his car into her house and the cops fired a bunch shots that flew over us while we were in bed.
She lived by "Fort Taco Bell" which has more bullet proof glass than most banks. haha good times
This fag right here.
They released a few lists of the most dangerous cities in American awhile back and Saginaw, Michigan is in the top 10 of that list... Detroit has fallen off due to the fact that people are moving away from there.
We have a huge drug problem but not only pills. Meth and heroin also run rampant throughout this state. Charleston is where I actually live. The west side to be precise. We've had a lot of motherfuckers from Detroit come down here and they try to run shit. Gangs, I'd say yes but you don't here on the news that it was gang related activity. Everything you mentioned we got except the Mexicans. We've got a few but not a lot. The hillbillies you won't encounter unless you leave the Charleston area. Every night I hear cop sirens going past my house in one direction or another. I saw on Fb today that one of my friends got jumped earlier. Apparently they pushed her stroller over with her baby in it then beat her causing her to miscarriage. And no we don't take the moth man seriously. Well most of us with any common since.
Ayyyy what part of nashville do you live in? Everything you've said seems to add up with it. I've been living in west end for the past 3 years and it's all white Europeans and Jews.
Wrong. Talking about shit you know nothing about.
Actually, I have a picture that shows the breakdown of Tulsa.
North of Chicago. It's very high as far as violent crime. Up there with Detroit and cities way, way larger.
It's mostly trashy girls, sorry. Black cause most of the crime duh
Cross-reference with a racial demographic map
Yeah its that bad here. Quite fucked.
Yay, #1 I worked in the city downtown, working midnight shift two couples walked up to me in a park at 3am. I told them to leave and that they couldnt be there. They said okay, and left. I had a pen knife in my hand the whole time. Fuck being a security guard.
Care to elaborate one some personal stories? Or shit you've heard about in West Virginia? Also, is incest really that common there? And are the rednecks there hardcore and tough? And racist? Are there many blacks or Mexicans there in Charleston?
That would be a terrifying situation wot be in while on the phone with your GF! Did she cal the cops? If so, did they catch the guys? And does she drive a nice vehicle? Also, how long ago did this happen? And are you somewhat racist now?
Is Tulsa legitimately bad? As bad as/worse than OKC? And how long did you spend in jail? Are you white? And who made up the majority of the inmates there? Blacks, like most other cities in the U.S., I assume? And how were you treated in there by the other inmates? Any fights? Confrontations? Riots?
Do you think that Rockford is comparable to the bad parts of Chicago? Or East St. Louis? And have you been to any of the other hardcore cities in the Midwest to compare it to? Like Detroit, Flint, Gary, Milwaukee? If so, how does Rockford compare to them?
How do the people from Detroit fare once they get there? Are they hard enough to hang? Or do they get stoppe
yeah methheads are like another fucking species dude no joke, I was hardcore into heroin and still didn't like being around them, that's saying something. Because they become soooo unpredictable
I don't have much to personally say about Camden, but I know it was quite possibly the worst city in the U.S. a couple years back and the cops had literally no power there, even with government funding it was all gang controlled and none of the gangs gave a fuck about other humans. Newark is a pretty funny place it's awful in most parts but you're safe by the campuses as far as I can tell. First time I ever went to Newark was a fun little eye opener.
I go visit my friend who's going to school at Rutgers up in Newark and we wanted to pregame before heading over to one of those shitty little frat tests with too many dudes. Anyway I'm introduced to his roommates and we pile into my other friends SUV that came too and head over to a liqour store about 6 blocks down from the campus towards downtown. 2 of them go in and while the rest of us are waiting on the car we hear a bunch of shouting. We look over and this dude is getting pulled out of his SUV after getting pistol whipped in the back of the head and we just watch him freaking out as his car is being driven off and everyone else on the sidewalks act as if nothing happened. We all look at each other as the 2 who went in are coming back and we laugh and decide we should probably leave.
I've heard from a few friends that New Brunswick is pretty shitty every now and then if you're on the wrong street I drove through a few weeks ago and there was what looked like a triple murder.
New Jersey is definitely a fucked up place but hey you gotta love it sometimes.
>Chicago is most definitely deserving of being mentioned (particularly, the south side, from what I've been told) and I've pretty much always had it on the list, until I decided to shorten the list and change things up a little.
Isn't that basically Gary, Indiana?
Tulsa isn't terrible, compared to places like St. Louis, but definitely has some segregation. There's a pocket of ghetto in South Tulsa, between Lewis and Peoria, 71st and 51st or so, as well.
Usually there's at least one shooting and robbery on the North Side of town. Rampant prostitution, rape, arson, homelessness, robbery, murder, gangfights (#1 high school in Oklahoma is up there - they had 3 gun incidents one year. Cannot remember which). When I was organizing and doing a service project out there, we had to limit our working hours to when there was daylight. After dark, the police don't really go out there unless MAJOR shit is going down.
I'll put it another way - if you're white, it's like a pack of dogs on a three-legged cat. You're fucked.
Fuck yeah it is. I've lived in memphis for twenty five years and I thought I watched it get worse and worse. Buy today I saw that somebody's been shooting random people on a main road and I was like "that's fucked". But the real fucked thing is I remember another time that happened on a different main road. It's stupid here but honestly I enjoy living here.
As an NJ fag, here's my list of stay away from or briefly visit
>Newark (There's some white parts)
>Long Branch (Don't go at night)
>Asbury (Don't go at night)
>Elizabeth (Some white parts)
>>Long Branch (Don't go at night)
>>Asbury (Don't go at night)
She did call the cops and I met her and them at a parking lot on the safe side of town. Unfortunately, it happened so quickly she wasn't able to give much identifying information so it more or less ended there. As for the car, it was some pos 15 year old Honda civic. Racist? Not exactly. I won't judge based on race, but I do watch like a hawk what people are wearing (baggy clothes can conceal weapons and all that) as well as their behavior. If it starts to look sketchy I leave asap, I don't care if someone perceives it as racist. My life means more to me than people's feelings. On another note, this probably happens all over the place, though I've just not experienced it anywhere else, in houston, I've had "homeless" men ask me for money and when I say I don't have any, get shoved around and punched. 4 times so far in my life. All four times their sketchy behavior and dress should've got me out of their quicker. I've learned. Trust no one. If it walks like a duck....
Have you been there? I'm also talking of season when the beaches are closed. In the summer, the whites kind of push everyone out. Go into long branch or Asbury off season at night. There's big pockets of nigs and poor latinos.
In previous threads, most people seemed to think that Camden is, hands down, worse than even the worst parts of Philly; and worse than the worst parts of Chester, which people have stated is really bad.
Would you agree with what most people seem to think, that Camden is by far he most-fucked-up city in New Jersey/on the East Coast?
Why would you bother to take time to post in this thread and complain/criticize, when there are fucking trap/sissy/CD threads on here every fucking day? Yet, you have a problem with this thread?
Seriously, you are a fucking faggot and a moron. Please go be a retarded imbecile in another thread.
I live in a fairly bad neighborhood, most that would happen is hearing gunshots and police cars close by from the huge gang area that is just 2 streets over. Overall bad area and full of smelly ignorant niggers.
>Would you agree with what most people seem to think, that Camden is by far he most-fucked-up city in New Jersey/on the East Coast?
You can visit there and go to the battleship or aquarium, but I wouldn't hangout there or take too long going form point A to B. I personally, have not been in Camden long enough to see some shit. It is the shittiest city, you are correct though. The police frce was almost nonexistent for a few years due to budget cuts.
