Fantastic thread! Also… been there! Similar situation with my wife, started out great at first but as the years passed by, she became more of a light sleeper and more tolerant to her nighttime meds. Increased dosages were the only way to go, but even those max out after a while. It sounds deceitful, but I'd agree with some of the suggestions about harder drugs, w/o her knowing. I'm at that point, but my wife enjoys alcohol, so I can zonk her out with a combo. Good luck!

Ah. I should clarify though. By overdose I mean take like 10 or more pills. I got low one night and popped a handful but it wasn't actually very much, just enough to feel like I was having a heart attack for about 8 hours.
