I don't see any real revolution happening for a long time. The left are extremely divided and aren't willing to unite around organized labor unions like the Teamsters, AFL-CIO, USW, UAW. The labor union leadership is most likely getting impressive kickbacks from the Democratic party in order to keep the rest of the union membership alive. Aside from that, reactionary counterrevolutions from right-wingers and libertarians would be mindlessly followed by a largely uninformed and ignorant conservative base, working in tandem with armed forces. Some places might be able to sustain people fighting for the revolution, mountainous areas like Washington State, Oregon, Northern California and Colorado, but the ability of a revolutionary forced, ill provisioned and equipped, to take the whole of the USA would be next to impossible.
