Also, I agree it was a team effort. But much of the British contribution would have been impossible without Lend-Lease. Moreover, we didn't need to be there. The U.S. was even less likely to have been invaded than the U.K. (which was being bombed, unlike the U.S.). But we entered the war nonetheless, and to your benefit.
