I'll listen and give feedback to all of you if the thread is still alive after 5 minutes
This is mine:
>Instrumental, guitar, just for fun..
I think the bass its too high, I dont know much about eq and mixing...
The drums need some work 4 sure. Keep on making music though man.
>chillwavey, washed-out RnB
I'll bump and rate as the thread evolves
>Techno / Darktechno
I'd add a bit of reverb to some of your percussion just to make it more roomy. not to the kick though. It is a bit bass heavy, but not overwhelming
holy shit have you sent this into dubstep.net or something? fucking banging m8
I'm seriously digging these vibes, great song.
the vocal chops conflict with the chords and really sounds bad in places. Other than that it sounds good though, good mixing
i like the creative use of reverb on Omni Symphony. very interesting
i feel like the songs need a bit more direction, like a buildup to a great climax, but I like the ideas
My shit : https://soundcloud.com/the-laugh-box
yessir, I've noticed that as well. Some of the stuff on here was produced quite a while ago, but here's one of my latest tracks. unreleased as of yet https://soundcloud.com/the-laugh-box/graveyard-1/s-frow1
really enjoyed this one
Also this a song ive been working on for my upcoming ep and i would love all or any feedback on it. https://soundcloud.com/highsocietytx/high-society-when-skies-are-grey/s-70RPa
Mostly instrumental metal
Here's something that's not metal:
I'm really digging the vibes of these tracks but I'd suggest expanding your range of instruments to get a more unique feel out of each song
oh yeah man this some zed's dead shit right here! definitely feeling it.
hmm, sounds a bit amateurish but i feel like in a year or two your sound and ideas will really come together to make some sexalicious beats
Why wasn't I aware that this was released? I've been a fan of your stuff for months. So great to see you back here brah!
these compositions have a real zelda-esque feel to them. adding reverb, percussion and messing with note velocities can help get a more natural tone out of a virtual instrument since that seems to be what you have to work with for now.
yeah /mu/ threads are just huge clusterfucks of people who post but dont give feedback. I've heard your stuff though brah, keep on keepin on!
if you want to get a fuller bass sound, id go for just a standard sine wave with a lowpass filter, then add another sine wave on a highpass filter with a touch of resonance and distortion to get that more hollow bass without actually losing the lower frequencies. you should definitely finish this
I do love you <3 I like the different sounds from this, the distorted voice adds an interesting and colorful element to an otherwise "Deep" and "Emotional" piano in the background. also love that it's will ferrell
goddamnit so many releases are going under my radar it's ridiculous. Of the Tundra is definitely your best mixing yet, great balance and really aggressive guitar. love it!
sanic twerk team really is a gem.
cool art but post a link nig
Yeah i've been scrolling through this thread and ive actually heard most of these tracks before lel
Really digging the spookzy vibe to the new track and fuck me that drop is something else
amen, it's just a bunch of shit that i dont have the time or desire to deal with. i figure that if my music deserves to be seen then people will find it, if it goes unnoticed then the songs simply weren't good enough to be shared around
please listen to some of my shit, im a desperate lonely filmmaker
still working on this
Ya. I had 1 of my tracks played in an internet radio mix once bout a year ago. Nothing since then tho. I was using this alias then tho. https://soundcloud.com/hardsurface/the-fortress-of-solitude-dark
Serious question though how do you make your synths like were did you learn to do it ?
An issue ive always had when it comes to trying to make dubstep is making the basses and synths
fuckin amazing vibes, great shit man
very chill, well mixed, great samples
thanks for link! I dont have enough time to listen to it right now but I'll like it and save it for later when I have time
7th grade really is a doozy mang.
ok awesome! i definitely want to hear what you can come up with then, feel free to shoot me a private message on soundcloud if you get the recordings down. Unfortunately a lot of shit clogs up my stream and i dont get the chance to see every release.
interesting effects, but slap that shit on some lower synths and add some bass. shit would be cash
already following you m8
your stuff always reminds me of nujabes
takes me back man, keep up the great stuff
thank you guys so much for the support! I'm not used to such a dark vibe in my songs so that song was really new territory for me
well i went to youtube and spent a little while just copying whatever i saw but after producing for about a year i began to understand how everything worked and branched off into my own sound design. I use Massive as my only synth, but the versatility is unreal. One big thing to sound design is making sure the levels are even. Getting a vowel filter or something is easy, just a bandpass filter or double notch, but those filters create huge jumps between frequencies, and for the sake of the mix as a whole you want it to be relatively even. It takes a whole lot of experimenting, if you want shoot me a message if you have a wip or something and I can listen and give feedback, I'd be honored to listen!
I had some old OLD (like about 4 months into producing) tracks featured on a promotion network and they were received really well, but looking back it's so cringeworthy to see my old shit be praised, even during the time it was released.
just hiut 420 followers yesterday kek
Ah thats cool tho man. I always wait like a few months before i release stuff now so i can get over that love hate relationship with it 1st. Here is a darker tune of mine if ur interested https://soundcloud.com/molly-cypress/weezing
