The problem with this in specific is that it's ultimately bullshit. There is very little depth to the relationship (and apparently the women as well) if this actually works. Let me fix that. I've had 3 serious relationships. But all 3 of them turned out to be psycho drug addicts. 1 addicted to heroin. 1 addicted to prescription pain meds. 1 addicted to some drug that I forgot the name of. I don't do any drugs, but those kinds of girls are the kind that seem to fall into my league. The relationship was "successful" per se, even though it was only about 6 months at a time. So I'd like it to be successful for more than 6 months or more than 2-3 years. So by my definition, successful would mean having a happy relationship for more than 3 years.

I've long given up on that though. There's no happiness in looking for happiness in a relationship you may or may not ever have.
