Direct you twitter followers to your tumblr account and your tumblr followers to your twitter account. It's really easy to start getting followers on twitter. Start an account, customize your profile to make it look good/attractive. To get your first followers ask big accounts for a shout out, ask nicely. (Pro tip: don't post nudity on headers or avi's - its against twitters rules. I've seen account with 400k+ followers get suspended because of this.) Once again, be friendly with other account, give em shout outs and they'll return the favor. Just tag other accounts on your tweets and they'll most likely RT your tweets.
