its all i can actually get if it were to happen rright now
>implying anyone in here has any skills
do you even into mlg?
fucking kneel before me skrubz
fazeclan here btw
Tried to be realistic, only used stuff I actually own. I predict I'll make it a good 3 days into the apocalypse.
P.S. Setting a weight limit doesn't really work when half of the stuff has a 0 kg weight.
I actually have all of these items and this would be my load out in any significant happening.
forgot image because downy
Tried to use as much such as I could that I actually have access to.
yep, if anything bad happens, no matter what, i will be prepared
remove the shit you can make out of things you find basically anywhere, like the can stove, you can find cans everywhere and they wont disappear for a while as well. Also armor, you will probably doing a lot of running so the armor will slow you down hard.
Because during the end, one can never have enough toilet paper.
But is a shotgun really versatile enough for anything other than close quarters?
No by car, most of the stuff is for the open-sea-travel afterwards.
Shotgun isn't for hunting animals, zombies or humans. Just the best tool for browse towns and in case of emergency dangerously enough to hit enemy even if I have to shoot from the hip.
If you are a well trained gunman, I will die. But if not, then pic related.
Exactly, get to the coast and get myself a tough and ocean-going boat. First step is to hit the Orkney-Islands which are something about 900 km away. Then stockup with everything I can find and afterwards to continue the cruise to Iceland.
I'm an amerifat so things wouldn't be much better. But I live at the top of a hill so I could quite easily grab a backpack and run off into the dusty bills that lead south, away from big targets like highways and gated communities.
Travel at night whenever possible, accepting the risks, avoid most people if possible. Living in Canada I was expecting that this happened in winter, I'm a fairly proficient survivalist so I could survive off of hunting and MREs for at least a couple of weeks.
Yeah the zombies (Assuming that these aren't the super fast Left 4 Dead or 28 days Later style of zombies, but rather a walking dead or dawn of the dead slow style zombie) would be slowed even more by the cold and snow, but I've stayed out in the woods during minus 40 for a week without too much difficulty, so I think I could manage it between my opportunities for shelter.
Looks heavier than this is, this is my bug out gear almost item for item.
I tried to do a realistic one, using only things that I have in my house and only one item per space. Not... Terrible.
I keep them in a folder called "Things that pisses /b/tards off"
I do not require any special privileges, and you can treat me like a man if you wish (I am a little tomboyish). All I asked was the option to switch gender and suddenly loads of neckbeards came from nowhere
>I do not require any special privileges, and you can treat me like a man if you wish
Eh, in that case you have earned my respect Femanon, you make it clear that you desire genuine equality rather than famanazi privilege.
Why was that so difficult? I think I covered all my bases. 28.4Kg
LITTLE LITTLE MAN, YOU ARE NO MATCH FOR ME.
>Going to the coast
No, you want to head in land at first. The majority of the population (and thus the majority of the violence, break down, etc.) is on the coast, meanwhile many of the little towns in the center of the country will likely still be fully functional. As long as you avoid places like Chicago, Detroit or St. Louis and Kansas City, the center of the country is the best place to be.
Then you die of scurvy, malnutrition, etc. Or you die of boredom, heat stroke, exposure, etc. Not to mention most people aren't going to have access to a solar still. No, going inland, at least in U.S.A. is the right way to go.
YOU NIGGERS ARE ALL MISSING IODINE DROPS TO SANITIZE YOUR DRINKING SOURCE!
Furthermore shotguns are your best friend in this situation (shells are reusable and if necessary can be loaded with gun powder, can be easily obtainable via dismantling other bullets you don't need, and in extreme situations can be loaded with rocks, not advised, and can be sealed with wax
yea i know how to hunt, fish.start a fire(steel and flint +bandage if i cant find anything)+i dont really need satelite phone i will use high trees/hills to see if there is any sings or people(roads, houses),i dont need axe or smoke granades(i can make big fire wich can be seen from kilometers i have map btw and taht is :)
How about this, i can make fires, i have hunted before, i know several ways to collect and purify water, i have the skills to make both bows and arrows as well.
8/10, the bow is a really good idea because it's much easier to find/make more ammo than most other weapons, but a device for clearing away debris is something you are missing (Hatchet, Machete, ax, hammer, etc) and covering your face is actually a bad idea.
People are generally unlikely to hit someone they shoot a gun at because of psychological blocks that discourage murder present in most people. Covering your face removes a lot of this blockage, and makes you more likely to be hit. In such a highly mobile life style, running into the same person multiple times is unlikely, so there isn't much need for the cover.
Also, just from a practical stand point, the big water container without a mess kit is a huge waste, as drinking from them is either time consuming or likely to lead to spillage, thus holding your back either way, and without a smaller container, you lack the ability to drink on the move. Something as simple as a water bottle or empty glass bottle would also do the trick.
The knife is a good choice since you intend to hunt/fish, but a scrape book or journal is a good idea for tracking what planets are useful for what in the wild as well.
Some basic luxuries that would make the trip easier are toilet paper and money. The first is obvious, but never underestimate the power of the second. People in such a situation are going to be stupid, greedy and in denial. It's likely you will find people that still think money has some kind of value and would foolishly take it for goods or services, and it can always be used for kindling/toilet paper if nothing else.
Lastly, antibiotics are a god send. More valuable than water, medication that could save lives would make you very popular, and obviously would be valuable to you as well.
It's not bad, but a shotgun would probably be better for a primary, because of the likelihood of close combat situations when scavenging for food.
Also, you don't have anything to store large quanities of water, which means more excursions that put your life in danger. It's not necessarily a bad thing, because storing more water is one more thing that makes you a more valuable target, so it's a trade off. On the one hand, more risks in trying to find water, on the other more risk of raids/attacks.
Smoking is a bad idea, because of the effect it has on lung capacity and stamina, making you less effective in cardio situations. The tooth paste is a good idea, and one that actually I didn't even consider originally, but you also lack a journal/scrapbook to document good raid locations/gang movements and primary hideouts, etc.
As I mentioned >>559240252 the face cover might be a mistake, but in an urban scenario presents more advantages. If you intend to stay in the same place, then the cover can help you hide who you are when you raid, so you are less likely to incur revenge situations, and it would allow you to be slightly more intimidating. It's a better trade off than for someone that's getting out of densely populated areas.
Compass will be a good idea it will be hard for you with that map
When your water is over what would you do ,i mean if you find water and its not good for drinking how will you boil it ?
>be the 'POCKALIPSE'
>dig a hide site
>murder anyone that comes near me
The Nagant revolver has a gas seal and the bullet is in the casing, so that when it a bullet is fired it expands the casing and provides even more of a gas seal. It's possible to suppres an M1895 nagant revolver.
I set this one up for longer ranges and forests. The Ruger is just to shoot at little shits like squirrels, and to be able to get a few of them before they run by using subsonic ammo and a suppressor. The M1A will be able to really nab people at a good range, unlike an AR. Seems like half of you have forgotten about tents and such, which is silly.
>implying you would even find any tarps
If you want to carry a tarp, carry it. And also, kevlar gets far weaker and breaks down with water. So keeping your vest dry is very important, especially with something like the bigass plate carrier my dude is wearing.
Kevlar is heavy. I won't be carrying it since I wouldn't plan on getting into fights for no reason, best to lay low and stay outta sight as best I can, and if that fails then I guess I'll just have to die fighting.
this is pretty cool, i tried it out, how did i do?
Tis would be the most realistic thing, I woud try to head north to sweden or something like that I think. I live in West-Germany
Yeah, kevlar is very inconvenient. It's important to remember that being outside for multiple days as a soldier is just like backpacking but with guns, armor, and ammo added to the weight.
Would you bring a airgun with you? I have one but it wouldnt be good against zombies/bandits. But maybe people would have more respect for you, what do you think?
>Pic related, mine looks like this
I also have a break-barrel airgun, but it's only a .177. A .22 airgun would be alright for hunting, but they are actually pretty loud, even mine because it goes just barely supersonic. I would go for a silenced .22lr pistol, loaded with subsonic ammo instead.
Keeping it light helps me out-ghost the fucking ghosts.
Can't fucking hide from me you ethereal fucks.
ITT: Idiots who don't realize that customization is everything
couldnt get the armor right but counter terrorists win
Some food here, some ammo, ,tent and sleeping bag, nothing much.
chose stuff that had listed weight.
like to think this is a somewhat realistic loadout in some sort of apocalyptic situation
Pic related, except he wouldn't be wearing the shorts.
I would move to a less populated area (have enough stuff to last me for a week or so) and settle down there. Even have stuff for cooking and a guitar for self entertainment.
You can never have too many guitars.
