Who is/was the most underrated wrestler and why was it Christian?
>Christian would have been a jobber or in TNA if not for Edge
I will never fucking understand why the turned WSM and MVP face and made them team up. It was all types of retarded. 2009/2010 absolutely destroyed my interest in wrestling until around this summer.
But MVP's initial feud with Kane was great, and the inferno match helped him get over big. When MVP became U.S. Champion I was expecting big things for him, but the crucial mistake was overbooking him as a chicken shit. I mean, with a pro athlete gimmick you can at least have him look competent against anyone not named Jamie Noble. That and the YEAR LONG JanettyHardy feud were stupid as hell. But it was all over when they turned Montel face.
Yeah same sorta boat here.
Looking back i was watching Mania 25 and he had the US title which made me think he was finally getting a some what big push but then they mentioned a 20+ losing streak and pic related.
I hated MVP (not as a heel, I just hated him) when he first came on the scene, then he started working really good matches and looked like he was going to get a push and then dropped of the face of the universe.
Yeah, but you could say that of other retired and not recently deceased guys at his level. Foley got his dues as a worker.
(I do think it's a bit of a shame that the guy never got a role in creative, though.)
One horrible decision and now loves a mop
pre ladder match from about 2003 - 2005 despite not being booked as well Christian was a million times more over than Edge was. He was having fantastic matches and segments all the time.
The only reason he didn't reach the same heights was his prime being wasted by Vince and him pissing off to TNA because his prime was being wasted.
His son just got a job in creative.
So here's hoping Cane Dewey Foley can take creative to new levels.
Or Vince will just treat him like shit out of spite and shoot down all of his ideas.
You know for a file name called phantom kick that's actually pretty damn close and did connect.
So it's played slow and he clearly at least touches brets face. Meanwhile..
A guy repeatedly misses a dropping punch to a downed opponents face on a regular basis to the point where he doesn't even connect with their hair AND HIS NAME IS JOHN CENA.
