>literally nobody knowing that dogs absolutely hate hugs and it's a leading cause of bites to children
Dogs will tolerate it, sure, but there's always very obvious "I don't like what's going on." body language.
>hug sheph mix
>follows me around
>hug wolfhound mix
>hugs me back
>puts head on top of my head
>sniffs the top of my head
>puts head on my shoulder
>licks himself where my sweater touched him
>paws for more attention
Way 2 go OP, I got them both up and amped, now they're playing on their bed.
>he waits for it to end
>goes right back to sleep afterward
I love my cat.
>she sits still and rubs her head under my chin
>go to sit back down and she leaps into my lap demanding more attention
>she wags her tail a bit
>follows me back to pc and sits there wagging
>hes calm until I release
>proceeds to climb ontop of my head then down my back and legs back into his enclosure
>realize cant touch fish
>shirt now wet
Thanks for this thread OP, it's cute.
Thanks, here's another pic.
>There is no proper way
>dogs hate hugs
>you're giving it an unpleasant experience
People need to stop with this stupid shit. A lot of dogs are just happy to get the attention.
>leading cause of bites to children
Ever think that maybe it's because children can be rough and can't recognize body language? Yes, it's the child/parent's fault mostly.
>pick dog up to hug him
>he licks my face and settles against my shoulder
>sits up and licks my neck
>shoves his head against me to ask to be pet
>when I don't he wiggles away so he can sit by the stove, where some food is cooking
>after he sees there's nothing he comes back and lays down to chill by my feet
Why did you reply only to tell me the same thing you already said.
Google images is not a solid argument.
You're welcome for the cuteness.
>tfw I have to carry my sheph mix into the vet like that and I love it.
>she just stands there
>pick up and hug the small dog
>he looks around and never bothers to look at my face because he likes seeing the view
>crawls into my shirt
>go to hug cat
>remember she passed away a few months ago
>start needing a hug
The guy who keep on saying dogs don't like hugs, that might be true for most of them but it depends on the animal itself. You honestly don't know shit about animals if you think all dogs are exactly the same.
My own dog will jump on me and get between my legs when I am just trying to put food into her bowl. She fucking love the attention and love to play rough due to how she was raised before I got her. Hell try to fix her collar today and couldn't even do that because the whole time she was hyper, licking me and just overall extremely happy. I will have to try again later when she is more chill.
She died this week, and I literally just got back from making a cup of tea and automatically going to where her bed used to be to pet her while waiting for the kettle to boil out of habit, forgetting for a second that she wasn't going to be there.
Dogo looks like this but a big pupper and a bit darker.
>Stands still for a second
>Starts to struggle
>Gets free and attacks my face with licks.
>Hugs little budgie
>It squawks loudly
>Hear a crack and it stops...
Just kidding guys...
My sugar glider crabbed at me because he was trying to sleep.
The salamanders are just floppy wet meat tubes that don't give a shit what you do to them.
Dart frogs are too tiny and/or sensitive to hug. Black capped conure clicked her beak at me, said "Hey baby", and gave me a kiss.
Kenyan sand boa is in shed and hungry so he's very cranky in his substrate.
>Elderly cat thinks I'm trying to oust it from the recliner.
>Stays completely still during the hug.
>Lays there in a daze for about a minute.
>Looks at me and squints.
>Hops off the chair and leaves.
>"Well if you're going to act like a weirdo, I'm out."
>Go to hug younger cat.
>It looks up at me and meows expectantly, doing a little turn-around dance.
>Bend over and pick it up, giving it a big hug.
>Realize that the cat just came in from outside and is wet from the rain.
>Set the cat down, who wants more hugs so she can dry herself off more.
>Now my shirt has wet spots and cat prints all over it.
My llama is ok with hugs but he absolute loves it when I rub up and down on his neck
>Shiba Inu Puppy
Get a few licks on the chin then wanted me to let her go so she could get back to her bone
"I love you, but please, I'm in the middle of something important"
>4 year old Miniature Dachshund
wheezed a few times before leaning in and hugging me back. She fell asleep in my arms.
he just sighed and didn't move
to be fair it is bedtime for him though
>purred and gave head-butt
Today was a good day.
Some days are better and she will lick my face as well.
Other days are worse and she will push away and nip at me.. though I worry not, for it is of no consequence.
I will make her love me.
What kind of dog is that? From what i can see he looks just like mine
>get white hair all over me
It's never the black hair, always the white.
>sat down next to my golden pupper who's laying down on the kitchen floor
>wrap my arms around him
>he just kind of lays there for a bit a licks my hand before pressing himself against me
He's a sleepy pupper
>hug my doberman
>he slams his head against my jaw trying to lick me
>I say ow and he licks me more, whining
>hug my pitbull
>she pushes her face against my shoulder
>we chill like that for like 3 minutes, now we're both sleepy
Fuck you faggot, don't enter threads you obviously have no reason to be in
>Lying in bed
>Call dog over for hug
>After hug, dog lays entire body on top of mine
I may be stuck here forever. Send help.
>Cat: Get the fuck off of me.
She only want attention on her terms...
>Adult cat and kitten are sleeping in same cat bed
>Hug both same time
>Adult one does not even bother open his eyes, but start purr immediately
>Kitten stares at me like I had offense her ancestors, but about 10 sec later she also start purring
>Pick up loafing cat for hugs
>Cat slowly swivels head to face me, considers giving licks, doesn't
>Cat leaves to go watch the tarantula instead
>No hugs for tarantula :'(
she hugged back and snorted
shes a boston terrier
>hug my Sumatran STP
>she looks around for a bit and tries to crawl into the hood of my sweater since it's her "safe spot" out of the enclosure
Fuck I'm at a crossroads here: I can't wait until she gets full grown, but I'm going to miss when she was small enough to ride around in my hood.
>Hug older shihtzu
>accepts and lays in lap
>hug younger shihtzu
Oh wait he's too busy watching gf eat food to give me the time of day
>attempts to consume the boogies in my nose
I guess it's an improvement?
>Hug ball python
>it snuggles on my neck
>Hug baby Carpet Python
>bites my ear
>Hug corn snake
>sneaks inside my shirt
ill take that
>think of Hugging Rose hair tarantula
As if I'm that stupid
You honestly never realize how fucking enormous wolves are until you've been next to them. I worked at a no kill shelter one time that had acres of property, and in one of their pins they had two HUGE fucking wolf dogs/mostly pure wolf mixes that were brown and black. They were at least six inches taller than that one because when I stood next to them, their fucking heads almost came up to my head, and I'm 5'2".
>dog is snoozing on back of couch so figure I'll leave her be
>across the room is too far away so she follows
>put doggo on lap and hug her
>looks upside down back at me
>kiss her face
>she doesn't bat an eye
>stays on my lap while I watch Mount and Blade on Youtube
>he leans into it, purring
He comes to me for petting and a hug every morning before I leave for work by jumping onto the back of an armchair that's at my chest height. Sweetest cat I've ever met.
His sister tolerates hugs, but doesn't enjoy them.
> Hug pineapple greencheek carefully
> Go to pull away, she follows hand until I hug her again
> Gets to warm and scuttles up chest to shoulder where she burrows into my hair and rests her beak in my ear.
> Her favorite song comes on
> Loudest screech she can muster into my ear before struggling to get out of hair
> Flies over to cage and starts dancing and 'singing'
Tfw 14 y/o cocker spaniel
The feels are getting near
"Oh masser! I thought yousa gon beat me agin"
>Go hug budgies
>They hate it and bite me
Man, fuck parrots
>hug holstein/red mix heifer
>eats my hair
>kiss her nose
>gigantic tounge in my face
>hug from side
>licks my boots
i love her :' )
So they say and it's true for most dogs but if you raise them with hugs and they have the appropriate character or personality they actually not only get used to it but learn to love it as signs of affection and often get playful after they get the affection.
>hug my doge
>no fucks given
>rolls over for bellyrubs
What a tummy whore
He's really cute, mine has been with me for as long as I can remember, she's 15 now and lately she has been slower, can't see as well and has been more needy, I've taken her for granted almost all my life always thinking she'd be with me ever since I was 5, and now I'm so scared of what life will be like without her, this thread reminded me I should hug her a lot right now while I can.
Exactly. Mine goes every 20 mins... The only time she would ever poop on my shirt is if I put her on my shoulder right after she wakes up (when she's been holding it in for 10hrs) or if I scare her. She knows not to poop on me otherwise.
>hug sheep dog mix
>hug this shelter dog
awe anon, I'm really sorry. but at least you're making the most out of the time you have left with her, that's all that really matters
low res pic of me and favorite dog from work
That's the thing, I haven't, I feel like I could really do more for her lately, after going through a shitty situation with a crappy human being who basically cheated on me and left me feeling like I'm not worth it, I've been spending a lot of time secluded in my room training until college starts again.
I mean, its not like I live alone, but still, you're a dogs world, they don't know anything else, and whenever I'm feeling sad, she's always there for me, I feel like all of this time I've forgotten about her I'll regret it when she's gone.
>tfw all these cute girls and doggos
Why... why can't I find one of these.
>he squirms out of it
>starts licking me
>pushes his flank on me
>looks me in the eye
>SCRATCH ME PLEASE I NEED THIS!
So I did, and then he did this stupid face and started licking the air. Then he farted because he had liver for dinner.
I think that a lot too, but the truth is you just have to meet more people, maybe join events of stuff you like and meet people who think like you? There's bound to be a cute girl here and there, but also there's the fact that sometimes things won't work with someone just because she's cute and has the same interests as you, sometimes you just end up liking someone who hates everything that you like. At the end of the day just try meeting more people, every girl has her own cute side, and maybe you even know girls who like the stuff you do, but you've already made a wrong impression of them.
depends on their personality, some love it, others don't.
can also depend on their mood.
they don't really get washed, unless its really warm and dry, or they are going to be displayed at a show
well it's not too late! she'll remember the things you do, not wishing for what you didn't. even if you just start now, at the end she'll feel happy and loved by the person who means everything to her
we're not rare or anything, just gotta keep looking like >>2065806 said. you never know when you'll find someone. it's usually when you don't expect it either
video that the pic came from
>hug boy GSD mix
>curly tail starts thumping me like crazy
>runs off and brings me a toy as soon as I let him go
>hug girl GSD mix
>gets all fidgety in my arms and wants to horse around with me like always
>starts nudging my leg with her head as soon as I let go
>hug old man cat
>starts purring really loud and sniffs my hair
>volunteer at a shelter
>hug my favorite dog there
>she licks me and nuzzles into my jacket
>cry slightly because i live in a dorm and won't be able to adopt her
damn you op for making me feel these feels again
Nigga it's easy as fuck to meet a woman who loves dogs. All you have to do is put yourself in the position to meet them. Volunteer at your local animal shelter. 90% of volunteers are females or gay men. Go to dog parks, walk your dog in highly populated areas, bring him everywhere with you, etc. Assuming you don't look like a serial killer and you're not autistic women will consistently approach you and initiate conversations based on your pooch.
my conure is mostly potty trained, and i clean up after her when she goes somewhere she shouldn't and change clothes if she happens to shit on something i'm wearing... it's really easy to just take a shirt off, clean myself, and put the shirt in with the rest of my laundry... she wears a flightsuit out so accidents are a non issue there...
and my budgies only go in their cage or playground area, and i clean my floor multiple times a day and clean their cages once or twice a day...
having a bird doesn't mean someone is dirty, i just might change into a clean shirt more often than someone who doesn't have a bird and clean more often...
She's still pissed at me for taking her to the vet this morning. I think I'll wait until tomorrow.
>hug my cat
>she hugs me right back
Seriously, wraps her arms around neck and rubs/nuzzles my chin and face for as long as I hold her or lay down with her. Purrs like a machine the whole time.
She's one of a kind.
Well, you could try, maybe? I'm 20 now, but I've mostly dated women a little bit older than me, the down side is that they look down on you because of the age difference, you could always just try dating girls you'd meet anywhere else, meet different girls, at least one of then won't suck dude
I'll bump the thread
>she puts her paws on my shoulders
>she hugs me back
She is always excited to see me when I get home.
Yayyy another llama anon
>You should ask that to the people who shitpost their faces constantly
No, it sounds much more like you since r9k is known for hating people who enjoy themselves, esoecially for attractive people, and 100x more for cute girls. Being bitter doesn't make you cool outside of highschool.
>hug my kitty
>is a jolly and social cat to begin with so she purrs when she's around me
>let her walk onto my lap
>cat immediately headbutts into my face
now she's happily sitting in my lap and leaning against me
I LOVE MY CAT SO MUCH ;_;
the lil bastard twicht in my arms until I let him down
It varies chicken to chicken, but hens are a hell of a lot nicer then roosters, who will periodically attack you thinking they can beat you, and spurs or no spurs, they can leave some nasty bruises and scratches
If punting isn't working, chase the bastard down and hold him upside down by his legs until he stops struggling, and then just hold him captive for a few minutes. They seem to realize they've made a horrible mistake and it might buy you a few months of peace
His urns a bit cold. 0/10 still gonna hug it again anyway.
>Go to hug cat
>Accidentally left door open
>Cat runs outside
>Cat is hit by a car, then shot by local teenagers, then gets snatched by a hawk, but not before devastating the local ecosystem to the point where no life will ever spring from the earth again.
Next cat I get is going to spend it's life in a transparent cube like the prison cell they hold Magneto in.
>Hug cat 1
>Seems kind of uncomfortable, slips away a bit later, comes back and asks to be pet
>Hug cat 2
>stays completely still, does nothing, looks annoyed
>I accidentally motion as if I was going to pick her up
>cat hisses at me
>hug is over
A-at least they know I love them
>rolls over for belly rub
>Go hug my bros and they just start purring loudly
Man i swear ragdolls are the goty race for cats
Guilty as charged my friend
i live near a field that gets herds of youngster bulls put there. They are very friendly, theres always one I can make best friends with, will come over if I call and loves being cuddled, just like a dog. They kiss and nuzzle. and love being massaged and will let you kiss them and play with their dewlap.
Tbh cattle are right jokers though. I have seen them sneak up silently on other people and try to headbutt them over. They will also distract you, one will come over acting cute and the other will sneak up behind and try to pull your pants down. Always watch your back.
One time i was lying on my dog and for some reason he squealed and bit me. So im going wtf and im looking over him to make sure i didn't hurt him and he just hugs me and starts licking my face. He obviously felt sorry and wanted to give a hug.
>pulls beard hair and snuggles into my neck
>cat goes along with it
>he's the best
Llamas and Alpacas are all pretty intelligent animals with distinct personalities.
BUT, if you work with them a lot when they are young and socialize with them, they can be incredibly affectionate (at least towards you). Llamas have the added bonus of being a lot more protective over you, but that might also be a drawback, depending on how much you expose said Llama to other people as well.
Everyone says dogs hate hugs, but mine jumps up on my lap and forcing himself into my chest, some times be gives me his paw until I pull him closer and hold him.
He also jumps up on my mother and pushes his head into her neck and sits there while she hugs and kisses him in the head.
I hugged him since he was a little baby though, so maybe he finds it comforting because of that, idk.
>want to go hug great pyrenees
>remember she died 3 years ago
>I didn't ask for these feels :'(
>she rolls around on my hand and makes happy yoshi noises
>starts playbiting her foot and spazzes out
And now I have a hyper caique zooming around my room.
I've hugged him all day.
I'm going to take him to a vet to end his life next tuesday.
>I would go sooner, but this little village in the ass end of nowhere has no vet on standby
My boy is already 10 years old, and was diagnosed with an aggressive tumor behind his left eye. His collapse of health came in recent two weeks.
He doesnt eat anymore, only small bits, straight out of my hand.
Its third time I must bury a faithful friend. And I feel guilty for not feeling all that sad about it, and for already looking for a next pointer to continue my hunting hobby..
