My cat has only two sides: trying to murder me(literally), or he's the sweetest thing. Do you know anything about this? Could be a medical thing?

Yes, that is how cats act. Some are more on the murder all things side than others, but all of them are at list a little bit of an asshole who would eat you should you die. It's kind of their thing. My cats are more on the love and cuddles side, but they still occasionally bite the ever loving shit our of my feet when I move them under the covers in bed.
Unless this is a sudden change in behavior it's really not something to be concerned about. Any sudden dramatic behavior changes are things you should bring up to a vet.

Because cats are still animals. They are literally just a smaller version of a "tame" lion.

Yes I have that problem too.
I got my cat when he was like 3-4 weeks old, I still fed him milk and had to move his belly a bit after his meals so he would digest it properly.
Even taught that nigger how to use the litter box.
Apparently if they're taken away from their mother too young they have that behavior.
You're not playing with him enough, and he's trying to expel excess energy and wants your attention. Or you're playing with him with your hands/feet when cats are too stupid to differentiate between playtime hands and non-playtime hands. Or you're bugging him when he wants to be left alone.

Thats not even remotely true. I've had several cats throughout my life and the majority of them wouldn't hurt a fly,. Literally. My current cat would rather stick his face in a corner then even swat at a puppy the ran full speed and jumped into his face. Never hissed or swatted anything in his life.

Just watch some episodes of "My cat from hell". Half of the episodes deal with aggressive cats. It's a behavioral/territorial problem that can be fixed within a couple weeks.
Tell your cat to stop being so edgy.
