How do you train a dog not to sleep in a certain spot? He always lays behind my chair and I am worried about running over him
>>
Teach him to lie down on a mat or his bed whenever you are on the computer.

I can easily do that, but he has become really attached the last few weeks. Will introducing a bed ruin that?

He always likes little beds

No, training your dog to do stuff strengthens your bond, if anything.

run over him a few times. he'll learn not to sleep there. you can try to teach him to sleep somewhere else, but it's his loyalty that brings him close (this will never change btw).

just let him learn on his own that the location he chose was a poor one, he'll move. it probably won't be more than three feet, but it will be out of the way of the chair.

Run him over with the chair a few times. He'll learn
