In my specific major which would be different from yours; teaching methodology courses for your intended license. In my case its middle school. And then there is a praiticum (student teaching).

My entire family wasnt ok with my choice at first; my dad wanted me to be an engineer. Its not about money if you want to teach. Its about wanting to help people pursue knowledge that you have.
