How can you make sure your partner doesn't break up or cheat on you?
I have a girlfriend the first time ever that I want to keep long term but for some reason I keep getting a lingering feeling of inevitable tragedy
unfortunately you cant really prevent something like that. all you can do is trust them and hope for the best. treat them right and they should do the same in return and if not the relationship wasnt worth keeping anyway
>I have a girlfriend the first time ever that I want to keep long term
If you mean what I think you mean by this, maybe you've tainted your view by exposing yourself to so much promiscuity and flightiness. Now you can't help but worry everyone is like that.
You can't prevent it. You can treat her well, and you should, but the relationship is going to go where it's going to go. If you start worrying too much about her cheating on you or leaving you that will certainly be harmful to the relationship. Just enjoy each day you have with her, be it 20 days, 2,000 days, or 20,000 days.
>I pregrieve every relationship.
Always prepare for what is most likely to happen so when it does, the pain doesn't last as long. My gf left me a few days ago and I'm actually okay this soon after it because of doing this.
Don't let it take over your relationship though, just entertain it as a very likely possibility while living in the moment with your girlfriend so you can actually enjoy it while it lasts.
Not every relationship will fail though
OP, take it from someone's who's been in the shoes of the girlfriend who's boyfriend kept pestering, "WHO U FUCKIN?" "JUST TELL ME PLS" - it gets old and it wears away the relationship and makes it extremely stressful - esp if she hasn't cheated on you.. As for breaking up, that'll certainly make her leave.
my recent ex kept doing that shit because he was too insecure, kept accusing me, demanded to see my phone, demanded me to use messenger video to show that there was no one in my room or the house and even went as far as to come over for a surprise visit - to which all pulled up void - he was super paranoid and it destroyed the relationship.
> the funny thing is he cheated on me twice so apparently the guilt was eating him alive.
If you're that scared, desu, you don't need a relationship at all.
Women have much duller feelings toward men. She probably doesn't like you very much. don't obsess over women. Focus on making money for yourself. Making money (legally) is the most important thing in the world.
You can't be sure. You can do a lot to prevent it.
Talk LOTS. About everything. Compromise. Find solutions. If you have a problem, talk about it. Make clear that if she has a problem, she needs to talk about it. Don't stop discussing unless you get insanely angry (and even in that case, calm down and talk about it again) or you find a solution.
Satisfy her. Make her feel special, compliment her, treat her well, be the best lover you possibly can. Be a good boyfriend. Be kind. Be sweet. Don't be a doormat. Make time for her. Do things together. Keep things fresh. Support her.
This should be two-sided, obviously, and she should do the same for you.
something isn't beautiful because it lasts.
that being said, you can't 'make sure'. you can keep tabs so you know when it happens, but the only way to really stop them is with force. as in, spending every waking moment iwth them so they have no chance.

1. To an extent, you can't. If she is the cheating sort then she will cheat. This part is on you to pick the right girl. All people COULD cheat but some have no problem with it, others are just idiots or do it out of anger or whatever.
2. Well, by being a good loving boyfriend who fulfills all her needs, physical, but more important in a long relationship, emotional.
1) Have a strong relationship that makes you both happy, isn't toxic, and has room to grow and benefits you both.
2) Don't let the passion burn out. Even when you stop fucking like rabbits after a year or so make a regular effort to be sexy and go on dates. Try to make sure she is sexually satisfied when you do fuck.
3) Don't have a very active social life outside of each other and avoid drinking.
Really cheating isn't as much of an issue as it seems. If it happens your relationship was fucked anyway. You won't worry so much in a few months when you are more secure about your relationship and you realize, why they fuck would she bother orchestrating an affair? What is she going to gain from that?
