Who should I vote for?
I'm really torn and need convincing. I'm open to both democrats and republicans and independents and all I need is some convincing.
(pic does not mean I'm a trump supporter but it's kind of related)
First time I've seen his name mentioned on here this election cycle. Fucking sad how weak minded /pol/ has become. How quickly they will abandon their principals for a meme president.
why the FUCK would anyone vote for someone like Trump? The man is dumb, he has no skills for interaction or negotiation, the country will end up in ruins. Sure, he is good at hotels or whatever the fuck he does but is not the same as running a country or politics AT ALL.
if Trump wins, the USA will be destroyed from within, does anyone here want to die from hunger and live in a shithole of a country?
Most of pol hates libertarians and did before Trump, for the last couple years especially.
Ironically it was memes that did it
Because islam is the hot button for rightys and undecideds right now, and he said the right thing. I doubt he would actually do anything he's saying he would, but he's an effective weather vane.
Trump is the only republican that honestly has a chance to win, forget all the other nominees.
Bernie and Hillary are both good choices, but it depends which one you want. Hillary has hundreds of millions of dollars from lobbyists supporting her, was a walmart executive, and is pretty much part not middle class in any sense of the word. For christ sakes she let her husband cheat on her because he was a president, she's definitely going for power and is generally disingenuous/full of shit...it doesnt help that she has zero leadership skills and fails to instill any passion or american pride in people. With all those negatives though, she's still very experienced and probably is going to be the most stable of all candidates and won't fuck things over too much with crazy ridiculous ideas and just focus on making average stuff better.
Bernie is a middle class, power to the people kind of guy and seems like your fun grandad you always want to go visit. I like him a lot, but i doubt he'll be able to fulfill everything he's promising, in fact its almost a guarantee.
Personally, Id like to see Bernie/Trump because its a giant fuck you to lobbyists and the system, but hillary would probably make the best prez...but I think she'd get crushed in debates by trump
>attempting "social democracy" in a nation on course to be a white minority nation within a decade
You can't have a decent America without a massive white majority. Guess whose policy does the most to promote a white America?
"The top 5% of households, three quarters of whom had two income earners, had incomes of $166,200 (about 10 times the 2009 US minimum wage) or higher, with the top 10% having incomes well in excess of $100,000."
I know Wikipedia isn't the best source and it might be a bit dated, but it's decent enough.
If you click on those numbers next to the sections you can get the articles it's based off of
Wikipedia isn't that bad of a source as everything is cited
>In 2005 the economic survey revealed the following income distribution for households and individuals:
That was 10 years ago.
The economic landscape has changed, and this is not factoring in inflation.
In any case, that kind of salary is nothing compared to 300 million dollars in lobbyist funding.
I did say it would be dated. Even if you account for inflation, 200K is pretty high up there. You've got to also keep in mind that Bernie takes donations, he's not self-funded like Trump. He gets a lot of money from donations from what I've heard.
>That was 10 years ago.
>The economic landscape has changed, and this is not factoring in inflation.
>implying income inequality hasn't gotten worse since the great recession and rising cost of tuition
Have you listened to the debates thus far? Bernie almost always finds away to shoehorn some reference to "Wall Street fat cats" or something similar. It's pandering. He wants to tax the rich for almost everything he plans to implement. This is juvenile, unrealistic, and short-sighted. He's an embodiment of the Occupy movement. It failed for a reason.
>Occupy movement. It failed for a reason.
It was an ongoing nation wide protest for well over a year among thousands of people and brought a lot of attention to the inequality going on/made it something talked about by presidential candidates - how is that anything close to a failure?
But I'm not agreeing with you
Your graph literally does that, it shows wealth distribution going almost exclusively to the 1%; basically people with multi-million dollar net worth.
Upper class didn't even move if that.
Because it still never offered an actual, practical solution. Is Bernie's magic tax-the-rich-boogeyman strategy going to create even more jobs and keep companies from increasingly outsourcing and expanding overseas?
While the middle class shrinks
That's great and all but it shouldn't be news
Its called an aristocracy and it happens to most (if not all) societies
Democracy is dead and revolution is the only way we're getting it back
But you're right let some jew disarm you and "tax" the wealthiest. You know they don't pay taxes and pass the cost on to the consumer right? Keep sucking the Tory dick you fucking redcoat loving bastard.
>You know they don't pay taxes and pass the cost on to the consumer right?
Pretty much the only solution is to avoid acknowledging the growing problem of Regan's trickle down economics?
Keep sucking the boss man's teet
>I'm not sucking anyone's teet you liberal twat
>Reagan was a moron that couldn't even manage his own lackeys
No, just another clueless conservative faggot whining
>mfw gay people start getting married and their tax dollars fund their own secret government death camps
