This thread was created with a kind of joking tone. I know such laptop tables exist but where the hell do I buy them, and who/what can I trust?

This is a big purchase for me so I want it to last and be meaningful. On a budget so nothing over $100 pls

I'm sure there are tables/trays that you can buy (which are normally used for food) at places like target or definitely online. Also, my laptop is 17'' and almost 10 pounds and I use it in bed no problem, idk what your problem is.

Mine is 17" across too. I'm just a weak girl I guess. Not a lot I can do to change that part. You should see what I do for work. It shouldn't make the average person fatigued as hell. So I figured I'm just weak. That's that.

Dude just buy an "over bed table." It's the kind you see in hospitals where the legs roll under the bed and the rest of the frame wraps around and over the bed surface. Even with a heavy laptop there's no danger of tipping unless you basically bear down on the very edge of the table with all of your weight. Fucking things are easily under $100. Plus they're useful all around the house since, you know, table with wheels.
