What are your hobbies?

As a guy, most of my hobbies are completely male dominated, but still fairly social. There's plenty of lonely guys at the local game store for Magic the Gathering on Friday Nights. They also play board games which is mostly 30-45 old couples or single guys, and have pretty large DnD groups. Not sure if you're into anime or video games, but there's plenty of single guys at those conventions.

If you have other hobbies, just look for ways to enjoy them more socially. Personally, I ignore other people, because I don't really like getting close to people. Lots of the other game-store regulars seem like fairly close friends.

I certainly hope you aren't taking this personally. I'm just expressing how I feel about the matter in general and I'm inclined to think a lot of guys feel the same way, even if they personally are totally fine with who you are.

Personally, I would be open to dating someone who is trans if the opportunity came along, and over time I think you'll find that more people will be too. I guess my advice is to ask if you have ever tried a trans-exclusive dating website? With a website like that you'll find that the people will, at the very least, be accepting of your gender. You could also try craigslist.

The main thing for you I believe is that you need to be straightforward with people outlining what you want, which from what I see is a relationship. It won't be easy, you'll have to persevere through a lot of shit to get there, but if you stay in the game, you might just find what you are looking for. GL

now lets take this one step further, in order to increase your odds you could go the trap route but you should know that will not work out in your favor. say you go on a few dates with a guy and decide its time to come clean, it's unrealistic to think he will be ok with it because you dropped such a bomb on him and he will feel deceived. best case scenario he will be your friend and worst case scenario he will be so angry about the perceived deception that things will get physically violent.

That's the really scary point in people's life, the point when we stop trying. Understand that Failure is a by-product of success. For entrepreneurs' the ones who are successful have failed before, and failed more than once. Most people just play life not to loose, so scared of being hurt, embarrassed, deceived, they never put themselves into a position to potentially win.

As long as you don't loose sight of your goal, (relationship, happiness etc) and continue to try, (but also adapt and try new strategies, and new things) you will always have a chance to "win"

What I mean by societal value is not on your behalf, but on your partner's behalf. Part of being in a relationship is announcing it our friends, family, society as well, in order to gain justification and gratification from them (good for you, wow your partner seems like a good fit for you and so on). Compared to what is "normal, regular, average" Someone who is trans just can't (not anybody's fault) provide us with many of those social aspects, compared to a 'regular girl'
