well while it was kind of a problem in the previous thread i want to know if it breaks the rule of the dominating male if the male trainer train his slaves to be also shared or even owned by some other more powerful character, as, in the game I am projecting to create, katara is being trained to be of good use for those who own her, and that, makes her get different masters as she "level-up".

the whole idea is that she is not meant to be ozai´s bride as they hire-sell-buy her, but the player choices gets her to reach higher social position, as she is trying to survive and get some control over her life (at a degrading price, of course)

if that is out of the rules for this thread, I think I´ll stop bothering you and try to find which thread fits better my idea to get feed-back.

I'm a (very good) programmer looking for a competent artist to partner up and make a slave trainer game.

Probably won't find one here judging from your excellent discussions, so fuck me for trying. Anyway, one question:

How the fuck is it legal to do what Akabur and other patreon fags are doing? Is porn parody fair use or does no one fucking care? I would think $10k/month is enough to raise an eyebrow.

Maybe not. I think it would definitely be possible to find an amateur from like deviantart, probably age 19-23 (who's not a professional yet, so they wouldn't know their price). The problem though is the subject matter. I would guess if 5% of artists would do nudity, then 5% of those would be ok with western style slave porn. PT was certainly a more complete game, but in retrospect it wasn't a true slave trainer. I think it's a stretch to say there weren't certain aspects in which it felt like you were training Jasmine because there was some progression in the apartment CGs, although that didn't increase her stats.

WT felt like an actual slave trainer. You had complete control the whole time and you were working for yourself. It had more flaws than PT, but the core design was a major improvement. Personally, I think it was a bit closer to prostitution than I would have liked, but the mind break was still there.

Those are two separate issues. Sharing Katara would have nothing to do with making her the character, the latter would only be the case if the narrative were told from her perspective.

Working on a GOT slave trainer where you play as a mercenary general who conquers Kings Landing and is tasked with breaking the various females of the noble houses to facilitate the conquest of the seven kingdoms.

Along the way you can employ/take advice and interact with people throughout Kings Landing, such as Tyrion, Pycelle, Shay and more. Having different allies onside gives you access to different options for breaking the slaves (Tyrion uses clever words/insightful insults to demean, Pycelle supplies you with potions and aphrodisiacs, Shay joins in the rape sessions to help get the prisoners off etc.) Getting the allies onside requires choosing the right dialog options to convince them to ally with you, as well as granting them certain gifts or concessions.
You also need to manage defenses and a military presence in the lands to keep the prisoners pliable.
After a set time in game you become aware that the heir to the Targaryen house is making her way to take the kingdoms from you. If you have enough manpower she can be defeated and captured to add to your harem. If not, you might lose territory and control of your slaves.

I'm spending a lot of time on the script making sure there are many meaningful dialog options. There is a cocky/confident, calm/factual and loyal/chivalrous option for most dialog letting you tailor how you respond to each prisoner and ally.

Another thing included is the idea of breaking the slave with force vs. forcing her to love you. The former could be achieved through daily gang rapes by groups of filthy peasants, the latter by wearing down a prisoners self worth by forcing them to perform a wide range of demeaning acts. The end result is the difference between a catatonic fuck slut on the throne as opposed to a willing, simpering broodmare who begs you to take control of her kingdom.
Along the way you'll encounter other females you can interact with, from busty scullery maids to Brienne of Tarth (snu snu mode engaged).

Downloaded it from the "Links to Other Games" paste in the OP. What's up with the goofy card game thing? Am I supposed to win to continue or something?
I can't say no, or the game ends, and even if I win one round (which is a pain in the ass because the dice favor the computer and the rules are convoluted as fuck), I have to keep playing. Saying I want to stop just ends the whole damn game.
I thought the game was supposed to be about Iris.

A few char sprites, a few CGs and some BGs are all that's really required on the art front, but to make a truly stand out ST you need a lot of complex dialogue. I disagree that it's not the most difficult. Art and coding are both made vastly easier through experience. Writing is still time consuming and difficult even for the most seasoned writers. Look at GRRM for example, old and experienced and still takes forever to write.

Not to discredit art or coding though, it still takes effort to learn the skills.

As a guy actually writing shit right now, I can tell you you're wrong. Writing is similar to telling a story, but the major difference is detail. You've got to take characters from point to point in an organic way, clearly illustrating the path they're taking in a fairly logical sense. You don't need to go that far when you tell a story. If I told you the story of WT, it'd be pretty simple: Guy gets body swapped with another guy, plots with a friend to change a girl from a nerds bookworm into a cock-craving whore, proceeds to bend her to his will, and leaves after one last fuck session with his student/slut. That's the story, but it's not writing. It doesn't illustrate the development of Genie's relationship with Snape or Hermione, it doesn't get into the nitty-gritty of dialog and wording.

When you're writing, you've gotta know the characters, know their word choices. Does character X say penis, cock, or dick when she's trying to be sexy? What does character Y do when she catches you jerking it while talking to her?

My biggest issue as a writer is starting dialog. It's my biggest weakness and I fully acknowledge it. I'm currently writing a new character, trying to figure out how she and Genie will interact. My process for dealing with this is two-fold, iterate and skip around. I'll write these scenes several times, I feel, but at least I'll be happy with what I've written at the end.

Of course, you could be a natural writer. Some people have an innate talent for fully thinking through the social interactions of fictional characters, able to grasp the various interconnected relationships without challenge. If you're that lucky then I'm really jealous of you.

Another thing that I think is cool, even though it has no impact on the continuing story, is when you are asked about events that occurred prior to the game you can pick from a range of replies, building your own backstory and narrative. It's only a small thing, but it lets you shape the character.

One example in the Tyrion conversation is when he asks what happened to the Mountain. You can reply that he was killed by your men, found floating dead in Blackwater Bay after the battle or that you slew him with your own blade. It has no effect on what happens in the story, but it's a nice option.
