Someone should totally set this up for SFM
Read about animation, not SFM.
Look at porn gifs. Gimp etc. allow you to look at individual frames.
Remember physics: things have weight that pulls on them and they pull on things attached to them; inertia makes things try to keep moving or stay still, leading to motion lags in attached parts such as hair and tits (that's what jigglebones try to mimic).
Most motions influence all bones in a model. For example, with a doggy fuck, the pelvis of the woman jerks and changes orientation slightly, moving the rest of the spine bones that also respond to inertia and opposing forces from arm placement. Try not to have all bones move at the same time because it looks too robotic.
Locks help you with things that are attached or pushing against each other: hands holding a pelvis, inserted butt plug, cum on face, hands moving tits using baked jiggle bones and such.
For SFM specifics: don't trust SFM, it's got lots of weird faults; smooth out your curves in graph editor for more natural motion; a simple loop with a bone that has one intermediate state can usually be done by a spline and flat tangents; learn to fine-tune tangents to do things like make motion smoother or more abrupt; remember to use offset mode if you don't want to overwrite curves; don't be scared to do a little clipping, it mimics flesh pressing against flesh and looks okay with a bit of ambient occlusion; if you've got a repetitive movement, you can define it in graph editor, do copies in motion editor to extend it, then use graph editor offset mode to add variety to the motion.
All sorts of other stuff. SFM has been going years, but unfortunately no one has ever made a pornmaker's guide.
How should I improve this? Still new.
This is still a draft, and I used 2 shots, one for the main camera (1) and one for the Iphone camera (2). I used Photoshop to overlay the 2 on the actual Iphone model and thought it turned out alright, I whipped up this draft for some feedback before I start doing the final version.

Lighting could use work
do 3 point lighting and tint your lights slightly (blue or yellow). Don't be afraid to have strong contrasts and black areas if they're not important for the shot

Blender is just more difficult to learn and less accessible. SFM got a huge "market share" by being dumbass friendly and having all the valve models ready to use already. Everyone started porting video game stuff there because, again, accessible. You could just pull models and use them in Blender if you wanted to, but most people can't be fucked since you can get good results in SFM anyways so why bother. Only some really good animators would see a noticeable improvement changing to Blender.

its mostly because SFM is seen as easier to work with...and its also the main hub for game models either way, the perks of using a game engine for animaion and such...
models can be used in either program, but not without porting work.
an sfm content creator can utilize 3d editing software such as blender, maya, etc. and modify existing models, such is how nude models and accessories are concieved.
Talented people don't use SFM, and real 3D programs take much longer to produce animations with. People moving around, physically interacting, and showing emotions are much harder than a porn loop.
He said talented. I don't think he meant forty minutes of close-ups, soft focus, and volumetrics to hide how shit you are at animating.

Anybody who has done a course in 3D modeling and animation can see how bad SFM porn is. It certainly isn't shit to say that porn loops are the lowest form of lazy animation, and creating them in SFM just shows how incapable the artists are.
Actually, the worst thing about SFM porn is the still images. People post 4M image files (bigger than most animations) that probably took an hour to pose, but they can't be bothered fixing problems in Photoshop such as edges on low-poly models and inflexible orifices. If you cant make a vagina look like a vagina in Photoshop, you shouldn't be posting, and you shouldn't be dropping 4Mbyte turds into the Internet.

No shit, most people who do this stuff are beginners, or began animation and 3d with it. It's like babby's first walking cycle, except hip thrusts and ass physics.
A lot of people dont care if its a "lazy loop" as long as it looks good. Which many SFM artists can achieve that.
Many artists don't work to impress other artists. They aim to impress the masses. It may not seem impressive to you. But you're one in a million.
SFM animation is mainly a hobby. They don't want to spend one month animating something like its their career. Calling them lazy or incapable just seems ridiculous to me.
Talented 3d animators dont make 3d Animated Porn at all anon (Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks Animators).
Just be happy some people make small but good loop (which is rare) and small 20 minute videos like StudioFOW.
but StudioFOW is mainly rape stuff though.
