Humbling to see my meager sketchings in the OP for something. Quite a merry thing indeed.

I'm still working on that something, or rather would be if I was home. It'll take until middle next week untill I car resume drawing in earnest.

I suppose I can reveal it's going to be a 4 page comic centered on the mouth-concept I posted a couple of sketches about in the previous topic.

Can't vouch for quality, but I am trying to move towards a more finished product as opposed to my regular sketches and all content is keeping this fun thread afloat.

I might post some teaser sketches when I get home, it's gonna depend on how long it takes to get anything finished and done.

I don't know of any way to repopulate entire areas, but if you're willing to risk using the console (there have been reports of games saved after using it failing to load) then you can spawn any robot you want and hack them using

I found some mods on the Nexus that let you build assaultrons. Robot Guardians and Settlers, and Robot Home Defense.

I was kind of hoping you could populate an entire settlement with assaultrons, but all they do is wander around and add to your defense rating.

I can't be certain, but I imagine making them behave like regular settlers would be more complex as it would mean adding new animations to the assaultrons that they don't normally perform and weren't designed to. It's certainly possible but it would probably be more involved if their movements were to stay robotic, rather than just changing to use human animations (which would likely stretch their models in weird ways).

That's a good idea, though i haven't actually met curie in my fo4 save. I'm lv 43 but I've been dragging out the story missions, i've mostly been doing side missions with all three factions to get caps and xp, as well as lots of settlements. Currently milking the BoS until i decide to betray them and go railroad.

BoS are basically reflavoured nazis.

Will look up how to meet curie, but i really like the idea of giving her a custom assaultron body.

We can't add animations yet afaik, and modelling is limited, but i can definitely do a texture.

I got this feelinbg from Fallout 4 that bethesda tried to experiment and release the least buggy game they could, so they scrapped a load of stuff to make it happen and will add it on DLC. I have played a good 100 hours and only had 2 crashes. Compare that to Skyrim, were by the 100th hour mark I had crashed a good 30 times.

I think reading a lot since childhood certainly helped. You just pick up how to use language if you're constantly exposed to it.

In all honesty though, I'm far from the best writer. I find stories start off easy to write and then rapidly become much more difficult as they progress. Take the smut part of this one. Considering the human brain is a network of connections, where connections that get used more frequently become larger and faster the more use they get, it can be inferred that human traits like love or empathy are in fact learned. Whether humans are predisposed to be good at these things, i have no doubt that a machine could be designed to do these things, or better yet, designed to learn and grow. Imagine a machine that can modify and improve its mind in the same manner that a human does.

In my opinion, that's the way to create artificial life/intelligence. A mind that grows in the same manner as a human child, the major difference being that a robot has infinitely more potential than a sack of blood, muscle, and fatty tissue.

The BoS isn't the enclave though, they are just raiders who also happen to be racists. There core guiding principles are "See someone with shiny shit? Take it from them, assure them it's for their own good" The only difference between them and common raiders is that the brotherhood feels the need to justify their theft.
