Think about this. Maybe the infinity of eternal life and the prospect of non existence actually both happen. They're hit or miss, like hoo boy just look at this one. But their hits really hit hard for me.

So it's not just you, but I really don't see why it's abhorrent. And I'm sure that means someone will list a bunch of subjective reasons. Which I guess means I think on a "general art quality" level they are high, but their stylistic choices really turn off many people here.
They have a heavily western style that tends to not care about emulating the original art style or character proportions. And this board tends to prefer artists who are somewhat anime-like or looking "reasonably" close to the original art style or character designs.

That and their biggest and most consistent failings in general quality tend to be with faces, which are something that take down a whole piece if they are fucked up. Image relevant again. Like most of the effort seemed to be in the center character, who looks fine, and becomes less prevalent as you go farther to the side.
