Right, ren'py is fairly easy to get in to but can get very complex. It's easy to spaghetti code the fuck out of it, and if you end up in a position where you were previously inexperienced in coding and you actually got better as time went on but didn't replace the bad code, it causes delays. Oni has already replaced his bad code previously, but this time around he's actually adding in better code that allows him to add in more character interactions, etc. He's already done with that, and is currently just modifying it for use with Kitty. His last update on the 15th said it would be out this week, even if he had to delay kitty's code rework to push out an update. He knows people are getting upset.

Oni is a stand up dude, and is doing a good job as a one man team. The only help he gets is some guy who does clothes adjustments for the sprites.

I enjoyed these 2 titles lately. SoC has something interesting and aesthetic going on, though to me it feels like it's something that could easily get stuck in crowdfunddev-limbo.

Summertime saga reinvigorated something in me I feel, something optimistic. Not horny-ness, that goes without saying. The world size feels just right and very easy to add to and build up on easily. It's pretty simple entertainment for any motherfucker.

Without the context it's hard to understand why she's a gold digger now. Even with context, I think it works out better to just make her suggestible whenever Genie talks about "I have an article for the Quibbler" or something. Luna's shtick is being a quirky nutjob who would probably blow you for a magazine article.

Obviously you're working with the assets you have, it just doesn't feel like it fits. If you plan to stick with the arc, consider adding comments and actions where the "real" Luna is slipping through, like mentioning Genie's dick looks like some sort of goofy animal, then snapping back to the gold digger personality. For example "Professor you have a Peruvian Spitting Worm in your pants!" (shocked face) "..." (calculating face) "I wonder how much it's worth?" or something similar.

Easier said than done - this is a hobby at best and the fanbase for these games always skews to autistic fetishists who get downright nasty if they're not catered to perfectly. The people who start projects usually find they don't have the time and that the audience isn't worth it.

Frankly the whole system is outdated - we just stick with what Akabur did because it's easy. There's no real skill to this "game", you just whittle things down until you've unlocked the same boring screenshots. I suppose that's not really different than a lot of other VNs, but it's still unfulfilling.

The player should get the chance to make Hermione into whatever he wants. The choices they make should unlock different fetishes with different scenes. Clothes they wear should matter.
