Ledroit is a great artist, and the comic seems like a lot of goofy over-the-top fun in the vein of Judge Dredd or Warhammer. Thanks OP for storytiming this. I don't know why people in the last thread were all "hurr fedora durr 14 years old", y'all faggots too serious for your own good

Because comics like this are usually like that. This one does have that feel I would hope this artist would do WH40K stuff since his style would be so perfect for it.

New ones coming out in September I think. Millis basically has everything written, Ledroit just didn't manage to draw everything in time. I spoke to a comic supplier about this about two years ago and they said that the publisher of Requiem doesn't really make a lot of money so maybe that's a factor in this.

I know it does, but the Dark Eldar don't really use it cause of the risk it plays to their city, Commorragh.
Of course, some crazy Dark Eldar do and it usually destroys them if Vect isn't the one causing their downfall.
Which he usually almost always is.

I was pretty much convinced that this guy had already been drawing Warhammer stuff for a good while, but I wasn't able to find a single Warhammer picture.

Dont get me wrong, its a good series, cool art and interesting setting.
But its also a little bit edgy and has some plotholes for me. And Heinrich and Otto kinda get Mary Sue.
Guess its a Heavy Metal or AD thing, why its like this.

I get your point, it's just that its edginess is so deliberately over-the-top it's impossible to take seriously. I mean, it's a series with vampire nazis, Dracula, pirates, mummies, baboons, and American war machines evolved into dinosaurs. It's all just one big goof.

It's definitely a 2000AD thing, because a lot of 2000AD comics are like that. And well, you could say Dredd is a Mary Sue too, but imo Mary Sues can be entertaining when they're not taken too seriously. Same reason I like classic Lobo.

And sure i enjoyed the story. Its just 4-5 situation where i stumbled over, thinking "isnt that against the established rules?" or felt that it was too quick overpower them because badass.
I accept it as flaws or me getting it wrong, but the whole is so interesting and appealing to me that i think "damn, if this wasnt, its a 10/10".
Guess im too spoiled by what this books has already. Lol

I honestly didn't get the sense that Hinrich ever really reveled. He completely deluded himself into believing he was bewitched, or he went into a state of callous vice, but he really didn't seem to revel. All the other vampires revel, but the deciding factor seems to be a self-applied label of 'evil'.

The Shermanator didn't revel, nor did he believe he was doing good. He believed he was doing horrible things, was damn thorough doing it, and made sure to fucking commit, because he was a man at war and war is hell (when conducted properly).

My guess is that he gets reincarnated as a vampire, pours out a cup of fire, eventually gets killed, comes back, pours out more fire, and repeats the process.
