I've literally been here from Day 1 of /weg/, because I migrated here from /stg/ back when it was on /vg/ when /aco/ was created.

So I torrented Porn Studio Tycoon earlier. It's up on Steam early access at the moment or something. Russian Devs I think. I get the impression it's boring, and probably not going to improve.

Too many screens, too much micro-management of minor things, and while the character art isn't bad, they played too safe in order to get on steam and the porn stars don't even have lewds. All the porn stars are fully clothed. Right now you can "view" the sex scenes being recorded but it's censored by a big round black...dot, and the only thing lewd you're aware of are some badly recorded female lines. Which, for some reason instead of using something like "oh baby!" or "give it to me daddy!", go with "Sir!" a lot.

Why do I even bring this up?
Would be/amateur devs on /weg/ looking for ideas (I know we have a few knocking around and asking for ideas): The fundamental concept of running a porn studio, you guys could make that work. If do it via patreon, you can deliver the missing element people want out of a game like that, viewable sex scenes.

Something a few /weg/ games fall into this thing where the mechanics of advancing the game are A) Obtuse/Unclear and B) Don't make sense. Advancing the game in a porn studio setting is so clear cut and obvious: You're a business. You need to make money. You grind to make money, which you then reinvest back into the company to unlock new parts of the business, which in turn incense your profit, and then the cycle renews again. Your players would never be lost on what to do.

You could make it that you start out with only the option to hire untalented amateurs, but as you advance can hire or discover more talented girls. But you add in the option to advance/improve some of your starting girls, and boom, you tap into that staple of /weg/, corruption, as well.

So yeah, just throwing that out there.
