He takes his jobbing friends Uub, Yamcha and Krillin with him since Yamcha has nothing else to do and 18 wants Krillin out of the way so she can have some single fun. Marron can stay with Bulma and help look after the baby. This would also be an opportunity to develop Uub's character.
