i cant be the only one with this problem
both my notebook and pc are powerful enough for some advanced madvr computing stuff to play back my animu, but whenever i try to use it the fans get real loud because the graphics card and cpu is getting stresses more
and i fucking hate watching anime with loud background noise, its not comfy at all.
so what i end up doing is underclocking everything so that the fans literally dont spin, but then i have to watch with fucking DXVA and evr-cp instead of superior hi999p madvr playback
has anyone found a solution for this? daiz?
You're very hard to please OP

get a better cooling system for your desktop
and/or get some noise cancelling earphones

Stop using stock coolers ya dingus.
If you are on intel watch anime with the integrated graphics.
Try Cooler Master hyper 212 or a noctua cooler or
even a aio water cooler, but lol I have a Corsair H100i and playing anime my fans stay the same as idle witch for me is around 600rpm I have to put my ears near my tower to hear it running if anything is playing sound at all.

hyper 212 evo

So hook up a water cooling rig and put the chiller out on the porch.
Have you considered using stock CCCP instead of placebo filters that make your fans spin faster than your mom on the stripper pole?

>using a laptop
Fucking pathetic.

These maybe?

I know what you mean in a similar way
The AC/Heater sound that goes on when I'm watching annoys the hell out of me, so I either end up turning the volume up and then having to turn it down when it's too loud when ventilation stops, and then i usually just don't turn it up so i can't hear 50% of what im watching but at the end of the day it's subs so its not the end of the world.

That's what you get for not choosing you components without thinking about noise
>>138425084
Just buy decent headphones, you shouldn't be hearing any background noise if you use those.

STop downloading shitty super-compressed HEVC encodes which need 5000 Jiggawats of power to decode whilst saving a mighty 50mb of space per episode.
>watch a 1080p HEVC video
>CPU temp goes up by 12 degrees Celsius
Opening the window helped.

custom fan profiles
Control Panel>Power Options>Change plan settings>Change advanced power settings
change System Cooling Policy to passive instead of active.
